- 2022-10-10Im coming to 22 weeks. But i have cervical length issue which is 0.7cm now. Doctor told me about the cervical stitch but there will be a risk where if they accidentally burst my waterbag and my baby will be really born premature which they didnt practice to revive or try to make the baby survive at this early stage. What should i do? Is there anything i can do to prevent my baby to be born during this period atleast till my baby reach 24 weeks?
Im not sure if this happen to me during my first born as i found out that im pregnant when my pregnancy that time already 6 mths which doctor said they wont check on the cervical length after that month and i have my waterbag broke early but i am able to hold it till it is 32weeks.
Due to my first pregnancy was prematured that is why this time pregnancy doctor have been checking on my cervical length.
What should i do? Im so worried.

- 2022-10-10Hi mommies.
My baby is turning 4 months old and generally he's an easy baby. He does cry for milk, when he gets bored or wants attention. He laughs and coos when we interact with him. He even "yelled" for attention which is cute. He's a very easy baby but my friend's baby is the opposite.
Her baby is inconsolable at times and cries very loudly, she describes it as wailing.
I'm just wondering if having an easy baby is normal? Haha. As she keeps saying "your baby is so easy and can self entertain himself". I've heard that first baby is easy, 2nd one is the real deal. Hahaha.

- 2022-10-10Hi mummies!
I'm 37 weeks and noticed I had brownish discharges. I had a similar encounter at my 34 weeks but then was given Clindamycin for BV infection (did swab culture).
Now I am having it again. Is it mucus plugging? Am I gonna be in labour soon?
My next review will be on the 20th.

- 2022-10-10Hello!! I am a new mum to be and am actually very anxious when it comes to hospital settings and needle works. Usually which hospital is more lenient when it comes to such request? Mount e novena or thomson medical? Thanks in adv!

- 2022-10-10My baby is 9 months now and her weight has been around 6.5kg for about 2 months now. She’s very active. Has no issue drinking or eating.
She has always been 25th percentile since birth. But weight started to fall below 25th percentile which will concern the doctor soon.
I’m not too worried as she’s not showing any weakness or so. Or should I be worried that she’s not weighing enough for her age?

- 2022-10-11This is my second time ordering confinement food from NouRiche and I took a 28 days lunch and dinner package this time.
Firstly, I want to recommend NouRiche for their excellent customer service. Both times I ordered at the very last minute and NouRiche was able to try their very best to deliver the food on my preferred start date. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I also enjoyed my meals alot, especially the soups and meat dishes. The portion was very generous and the quality of meat/fish was fresh! I like the homely style of cooking as well, the food was flavourful but not over salty at all. I also enjoyed the different varieties of rice and desserts cooked every day. I really like the purple rice in particular.👍🏻
Thank you NouRiche!
Generous portion, flavourful but not too salty. This is the only photo i manage to take, other times I forgot to take - too eager to start eating.
- 2022-10-11No regrets ordering my confinement meals from NouRiche! Each meal is delicately prepared to give mummies great nourishment and delectable taste. The variety of dishes and the homely feel of the ingredients used leaves a familiar taste at the end of every meal!! The services from the staff are prompt and commendable too - from the very beginning of placing my order, to activating the start of my confinement food and lastly getting them delivered to my place daily. The deliveries are punctual and most importantly, the 5 items in generous portions are always warm when arrived! Appreciate the gentle knocks on the door to inform us the food has arrived (apparently not all caterer does that simple gesture). Will definitely order from NouRiche again!!! :-)
- 2022-10-11I was recommended to Nouriche Confinement by my friend during the covid period cos nanny was difficult to get.
Their food and service tremendously helped allay my fears and worries. I was able to nourish my body with the healthy food they provided hence able to provide ample breastmilk to my baby. I even continued to order for the 2nd month with some tweak to the dishes. This way I can take care of my baby wholly without depriving my body of the nutrients it needs. Overall I find their food quite good for my liking.
- 2022-10-11I have ordered trial meal and enjoyed it very much. The food is very delicious. Good quality and provide enough nutrition to those mummy during confinement. Food portion is big, everything in my first trial meal is worth 5 stars with no doubt.
- 2022-10-11Service is good, patient and willing to make changes to accomodate the needs of meals. Their meals are interesting, flavourful and served on time. Compared to another brand which we have tried, Nouriche is indeed better in terms of taste and presentation of food.
- 2022-10-1111 week old baby here.
He drinks about 100-120ml of milk, stops drinking and will cry hysterically with aching back.
I tried to give him the bottle again but he refuses to suckle, will suckle abit and continue crying / plays with the teat / appears not interested.
Could it be a feeding aversion😭 as we did force feed him to drink when his milk intake was decreasing per feed:(
Is he showing signs of being full or is he having a feeding aversion. Please help, a first time mummy here..#pleasehelp
- 2022-10-11Hi Mummies,
I am currently 17 weeks 2 days pregnant and from 2 days I am experiencing very mild blob kind of feelings in my left side of lower abdomen and sometimes in the middle of the lower abdomen.
It doesn’t feel like fluttering but minor jerk from inside or blob kind of feeling (I am sure I am not explaining it well but I am still not sure what this feeling is)
Can this be the baby movements?
I am so not sure!

- 2022-10-11My mom helped me in my 1st confinement as I have always been skeptical about the quality of the food and ingredients used by food caterers or providers. However, for my 2nd confinement, I have decided to give NouRiche a try as my friends were raving about it.
NouRiche has swept me off my feet with their excellent customer service and promptness in responding to my queries. Their confinement food provided are of generous portions using fresh quality ingredients preparation plus they have a great variety as well so your confinement period is not dull coz you will be looking forward to each mealtime. 😊
I simply love the cooking style as it reminded me of my mom’s cooking, it’s flavourful and healthy (not too salty, oily, etc).
To all the expecting mothers, book your confinement meals package in advance to enjoy their early bird discount! 😊
Thank you, NouRiche! Keep the good confinement foods coming!
- 2022-10-11Hi moms, 3 days ago got my cervix checked and was 1 cm dilated..today got it checked and still 1cm but cervix is soft. What else can i do or eat/drink to dilate more? - 2022-10-11Hi csect mums! When you use the binder, the binder should cover the wound area or around your tummy (below bra onwards) ? Cos when I tried to wear the binder covering the wound area, it gets uncomfortable when I sit because the binder will fold upwards.
So should I wrap around my tummy instead or cover the wound? Which is the right way? 😓😓😓

- 2022-10-11hi momma's, i need some advice.. last night me & my fiance had sex & he did finger me with his long unclipped finger nails then i felt some pain at my vaginal area afterwards when we we're done but it didn't hurt much just felt like a stinging pain at first but then when i went to pee & there was some old brown spots of blood on my underwear followed by minor bleeding when i touch my vagina tht seemed to last for about a min making me feel shocked till now then stopped.. also i worn a pad to sleep to monitor if there's anymore bleeding but there isn't anymore when i woke up this morning though i'm quite concerned..
Main Question Is Should I Go To Kkh Or Not?
I just went to polyclinic to see if i can get myself checked coz my fiance recommends me to do so & since i have a cough i followed the yellow line for suspected covid patients but doc says tht they can't really do anything about it & tht i should go to Kkh..
So Should I? #pleasehelp
I really need answers asap.. please reply!🥹
- 2022-10-11I like how Nouriche is able to provide a decent variety of dishes during my confinement. The ingredients used were not stingy as well, with most meals consisting of (at least) 2 different meat. Could be the meat dish itself, or could be the meat included in the vegetable dish or soup. I’d say I have no regrets choosing Nouriche!

- 2022-10-11Tried their trial confinement menu and is one of the best that i have eaten! Especially shoutout to their soup, super nice and nourishing! So i have decided to get them for my confinement caterer 😁
- 2022-10-11Ordered the trial meal first round with a few other companies to try out. Eventually shortlisted Nouriche and decided to order the trial again with the add on bento to gauge the portion. Hubby and I were pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of food. Food is not salty or oily. Arrives warm in the thermal bag and can be easily heated up. I love the big portion of soup. Very value for money! Friendly customer service too. Thank you!
- 2022-10-11The confinement food is really really really delicious and I'm considering ordering tingkat services from them even after confinement. The variety of food makes me look forward to each meal, and the delivery operations is well-planned. Prior to giving birth, I had ordered trial meals from various places, and Nouriche had the most delicious meal. No regrets!!!

- 2022-10-11Brought my elder son to Muse Arts 4 years old when he was only 2 years old. Until now, he has been singing Muse Arts songs. Not only did Muse Arts expose him to musical instruments and dance, they also incorporated helpful routine; such as cleaning up, sit down and motor control, through fun and engaging songs, that he still remembered and used on a daily basis. E.g. singing the cleaning up songs when he is cleaning up.
Thank you Muse Arts for creating such memorable and meaningful times for my Little One.

- 2022-10-12Hello, anyone have delivered in 2022 at mount alvernia?
- 2022-10-12#justranting
Hey all,
I'm currently 7 weeks post partum and these feelings have slowly creep up. Wondering if any mums feels the same way.
People say newborn is the easy stage but why am I not experiencing it. Bb has been a crier since born. Doesn't sleep well at night. Screams murder spontaneously. I'm not able to differentiate between hunger cry/gassy cry etc. So its always an anxious time for me whenever she cries. I've gotten gastric from the anxiety
I've tried to follow wake windows so she will have a good night sleep but doesn't seem to work. Because I don't know how she will react, I've become so scared of bringing bb to go out. I've been staying home so much because the anxiety is just crippling me. The thought of her crying uncontrollably while outside is just something I can't seem to look past.
Whenever I see parents with their newborns strolling outside calmly and happily, I'm always wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Why is my bb not as such. What am I not providing for her. Hais. I hope this phase will pass soon. I'm just not enjoying this stage
- 2022-10-12My children always look forward to Music class with Muse Art since they were 18 months old. The instructors are very engaging and every lesson is filled with fun and laughter. Thank you for doing such a great job in arousing the music interest in the children!

- 2022-10-12Ytd I found a bank statement of his spare account which he usually don't even touch, and also not much money inside. So I saw that he deposited some money inside on 3rd Sep, and throughout Sep, there were quite a few transactions on games and OnlyFans. I confronted him on this, he admited to spending money on games, but not on OnlyFans. He told me he lost the card too. I didn't bother questioning him further because he's very good with words and I won't be able to get him to admit something he's not willing to.
But because he has a bad track record of lying and similar situations has happened before, its hard to trust his words, as much as I want to. I hope to find out the truth because honesty is important to me in a marriage and I want to know whether he's being honest to me this time. But then I have no idea how to find out the truth. I can check his phone but he could easily use a fake email to register and delete his browser history.
I can also forgot and let go of this incident, but I'm worried it may fuel to something worse in future. I also dw to be controlling towards him. I wish he can just admit it so we can move on but then again, what if he's saying the truth? But how often does someone get unknown OF transactions on his bank statement if he doesn't have OF account and only realized he lost his card when he's being confronted? It's not logical although not entirely impossible. If someone were to pick up the card and use it on OF, wouldn't it require an otp for the transaction to go through?
Sorry for the lengthy post. May seem like a small issue but it's bothering me. Any thoughts?

Dedicated music teacher with affordable fees 👍

- 2022-10-12My wife started having muscle cramps in morning and nights during week 20. The uncontrollable spasms start from right hip to calf muscles and are very painful and leaves her restless. - 2022-10-13I’m 39 weeks 1 day now and it’s still a waiting game for me and my bb. Is it normal to deliver only on edd or after edd? I’m 1cm dilated from last weekend’s gynae check and he recommended me to wait out since bb is healthy and everything’s normal.
My qns is, what if my cervix doesn’t dilate and soften in time? Should I just opt for induction? I’ve seen quite a few mummies doing membrane sweep, should I request for it too? What are the chances of it inducing labour?
Gynae did mentioned chances of e-csect will be high if induction fails but I’m really hoping bb can come out and not wait till 41 weeks. I do not wish to go for csect at all as I prefer natural delivery. #firsttimemom #pleasehelp #firstbaby #1stpreganancy

- 2022-10-14Hi, has anyone done the 20 week scan at Mount A? What should I expect for the scan?
- 2022-10-14Hi Mommies,
I have tried to google about this and noted that it may be common for some women and may appear anytime in any stages of pregnancy.
Am currently entering 16 weeks of my pregnancy and 1 - 2 weeks ago, I have had red bumps on my breasts and belly area (also the areas where I apply stretch mark cream e.g. mustela and mama's choice brands)
Next appointment is coming Monday, will ask KKH doctor (I am on subsidized route and therefore won't have a fixed doctor).
Any mommies out there also experienced this? For now I have stopped applying the stretch mark creams and instead been showering twice a day and use Suu Balm Body Wash and Moisturizer for relief.
Hope that it won't spread to other areas :P

- 2022-10-14I just noticed a 'tear' at my baby's neck. When I try to clean with tissue, abit of blood came off. It's hard to clean the neck as my baby is rather chubby and super fidgety. My baby also perspire alot. The nails are trimmed regularly so I assume it's because of heat and rubbing which cause the abrasion wound.
Should I apply some cream over it? Or how could I help my baby to heal faster? #advicepls #pleasehelp

Is it too late to do a harmony test after week 15? Is there a max limit ? My result as per attached.

- 2022-10-14Hi parents, I’m at week 11 going 12. Just recovered from covid. I put on about 1 - 1.5kg during week 8 to 9 but subsequently I realised my food intake cut by half since week 10. I dont feel hungry. When i eat a full meal, I can only finish half and feel so full. I dont have nausea or any other symptoms. Now I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight and may even drop lower than that. Is this normal? My next scan is in 5 days. Just worried..

- 2022-10-14Hi Mummies! I am FTM. My son is turning 3 weeks old. I fed him 60ml of FM as instructed on the FM can but for the past days after each feeding he doesnt seems full. I then increase to 80ml and he seems more relax after feeding. My concern is will i be overfeeding him? Should i continue to feed him with 80ml or stick to just 60ml?

- 2022-10-15Hi Mummies, i'm in 32 Weeks with my 4th Baby. & It can across that the baby is still in Breech Position when I went for my 32 weeks checkup.
Gynae advised me to book for C-Section but me being me. I disagree to it because i still have few more weeks and i thought that the baby could be reposition either way. So i requested for another scan in Week 35.
Week 35 will be on 3rd Nov and if the baby is still Breech I have to pre-book my C-Section Ops.
I'm so confused and scared of the process and recovery. So stress right now till i dont know what should i do.
I need some words of advise and maybe some tips

And i felt menses-like cramps twice this week already. Baby movements are still active so far. Is this normal or am I going to labour soon? #firsttimemom #paranoid
