- 2017-04-03My 14 months old little one is sleeping quite late (around 10pm to 11pm). I would like him to be in bed by 9pm.
The thing is that I can only pick him from infant care and reach home at around 7pm. By the time I finish preparing his meal (example: porridge) it's around close to 8pm. Feeding him will take a while. After that he will play for some time and take his last milk feed. Seems like it's impossible to meet the 9pm schedule. For the working mums, do you all prepare your little ones' dinner daily after returning home from work? I'm wondering how to let my little one sleep earlier.

- 2017-04-04Hi,
Any mummy who has gone through c-sect here has any good panty to recommend for wearing esp. at the hospital/early stage? I got the Watson's cotton disposable ones but they sit directly at where the incision may be, not high waisted enough..
- 2017-04-04My 18mo boy had 2 unpleasant encounters with toddlers recently. One pushed him down and another choked/strangled him from the back with his arm. He's v mild mannered and doesn't rough play or retaliate and ends up crying. Since then he'll run away or towards me whenever other kids approach him for fear that the same thing might happen.
It saddens me to see that coz I want him to play with peers. He hasn't been to sch yet so he's mostly at home. I've tried talking to him to tell him it's ok but he still seems afraid. Is there anything I can do?

- 2017-04-05My husband took half day leave to help me take care of our boy so that I can have a rest. While I was cooking noodles for our baby, he was at the living with our baby looking after him. Then he decided he should play his clash of royal game on his ipad and neglected our baby. Baby was climbing all over him seeking for attention. I heard some hitting sound so I went out to take a look. Our baby climbed up the TV console and when I stepped out of the kitchen and scolded my husband of being so engrossed with his games that he didn't even care when baby is on top of the TV console. Just when I finished my sentence, baby fell backwards straight down to the floor and hit the back of his head.
I was outside the play yard too far away to dash across the room to save him.
The next thing my husband did shocked me too. He actually grab hold of his underarm and shock him hard scolding him naughty instead. Baby just turned 1 year old. Is he naughty? Is it my baby's fault? Or was it my husband's negligence?
Then he commented that he shouldn't agree to my request of asking to take leave to help me with taking care of our cranky teething baby. And he is not going to help me anymore.
I feel that he is very childish. Not the 1st time I got such childish remark from him. Totally irremorseful. And we quarrelled every 2-3 days.
I feel like I marry the wrong guy.

- 2017-04-05Really frustrated with my hubby... he likes to watch movies at home and my 5 year old son will watch with him... shows he watch are movies like fast and furious, mission impossible, Andy lau movies etc... I told him not to watch these kind of movies since my boy is around coz the shows sometimes have violence or obscene or intimate scene not suitable for a young boy... my hubby don't believe and say aiya he is still young... see also don't understand so no need to worry lag... now my 5 year old son honestly tell me he likes to see his female classmate bathing... oh my god really... any parent also got any advice how to solve this problem... I explain to my boy before that this is not right and even ask himself whether he likes to be seen naked by others and he said he will feel shy and scared but he voiced out again that he likes shame shame... faintz

- 2017-04-06What should i do? I'm in a shot gun marriage 4 yrs ago with now with 2 sweet daughters. Due to some work changes from my hubby side, he got into alot of stress and attitude changes alot. And i have to agree I'm getting tired of the routine recently. We just had a 1 hour talk of how we are feeling. He kept mentioning we are not seeing things eye to eye when sometimes i feel that the way he see things is pretty ridiculous. I told him that I'm tired of the routine, that's why we needed a break (holiday as i don't travel much) he kept repeating "let's see how long we can last" and to be honest, i don't wish things to last. My heart aches everytime we quarrel and even quarrel over a tiny stuffs. I really don't know what else I can do.

He doesn't hold his bottle himself when he drink milk as my mil always hold for him since young. He doesn't sip water from cup as we just spoon feed him a few scoops cuz he don't like to drink water.
