Week 38, feeling very unwell, having block nose, running nose and bad cough. Wonder if gynae would suggest to induce. Would i be in disadvantage to induce due to illness?

inducing while you are sick is not recommended. Imagine you are having contractions and you have are having a cough fit. you be so uncomfortable. secondly. while being sick, your newborn immune is still not strong yet. you can't cuddle ur newborn without fearing of passing the germs to your newborn

i agree on the inducing part. But try to let gynae to agree on you recovering first before delivering! i'm sure u want to hug and kiss your newborn!

Don’t induce till you get better. Labour is very difficult. And taking care of the baby while you’re sick is also very difficult. Please get well soon first

Did u take the influenza and Tdap jab earlier?
