- 2017-01-027.30am i feed my 5mth lo with ebm (straight from pumped). Then he rest awhile till ard 9.30am i continue with the same bottle. (Bottle was place in room with aircon, never put in fridge yet).
Now still have balance of bm as he still wana slp... so do i keep the balance bm in the fridge or throw away as the bm was pumped since ard 7.30am?
Had read on online tat bm can keep in room temperature for 4 to 6 hours?
Have been difficulty to feed my lo recently as he wants to play..when bottle feed he will scream here and there... sometimes also slp till dun want to drink milk. Was worried he lack of feeding/dehydrate.
Thus occasionally will latch him but not sure if how much he had drink..
His daily schedule:
160ml per feed every 4-5hourly.
But sometimes he only drink either 100ml or less (went he is screaming) OR timing was been extended till 6 hr (due to he is slping even in day time).

- 2017-01-02Hi mummies, recently heard that spectra 9 plus breast pump is suitable only for women with sensitive nipple. Seems like I have to give it a miss since I suspect I should be of normal nipple

How much more can we increase the milk I scared she will be overfeed?

- 2017-01-03Does anyone have a cot/crib to recommend? We currently have an ingenuity playpen and we're going to adjust the height to the lower one and my MIL is afraid it'll hurt her back (since she's looking after baby on the weekdays). - 2017-01-04How involved is your Husband in your children's lives? I'm just disappointed that my husband doesn't seem ready to be a Father yet. He's not young, he's just like a blockhead. I tried to send him articles to read, encourage him to read up more about pregnancy and how to handle kids as a first time parents. He's excited about having kids but he's not doing anything else. I added him in Fb mummies n daddies group so that he can read those queries that mummies daddies post. Because of some complications in pregnancy I gotta quit my job. So I'm so free to Google n check things out. Like what milk bottles to buy, breast pump, milk powder, diapers, when's baby fair what to buy at the fair etc etc etc etc. So I asked him for opinion he will be like "I'll check" but he NEVER GET BACK TO ME. I ask again n again on separate days. There's a upcoming baby fair and I said the baby fair don't seem to sell the Sterilizer I want. He's like what you want ; Oh, then how? I was mad. I mentioned Hanil like 10-20 times before?!! Is he even listening. I scolded him, don't think u are the only one working now u can't don't care anything. Because next time I'll go back to workforce and I can foresee I'll be only one handling both of them (I'm Expecting twins). I'm too is a ftm but I dislike how he know nuts and still doesn't seem to be worried. I even create excel spreadsheet to let know how what is needed for mummy and babies if anything he don't know he has to ask me or Google but he didn't even read through the spreadsheet. don't get me wrong he's a nice Husband, he massage me Every night even wash my feet for me because I can't bend down to reach.
How can I make him be more involve in pregnancy n get him ready to be a daddy ?
- 2017-01-04Hi mummies, those pills or injections to "secure" the womb or baby during pregnancy, are they good or do they have any side effects? Gynae is suggesting that maybe I might want to consider the options as I kept having bad cramps as though I'm gonna deliver. In my 25 weeks now.
- 2017-01-04My wife is expecting our first child and she is currently around 4 weeks into the pregancy.. she went for a scan but we could not see any baby but there the presence of the GS and YS... the doctor told us to come back for scan in 2 weeks as most likely its still growning and too small to be seen... has any mummies have similar experience? CNY is the most hatred occasion to me because I find it very bored and tiring to bring our 2.5 yo girl to house visiting. As most of my hubby's relatives houses are not very well ventilated and from past 2 years experience my girl can look abit shag and sweat like mad, I am thinking to skip visiting some houses. My MIL is quite stubborn kind and won't listen to me and will insist to bring our girl along. What would you do if you are in this situation?

- 2017-01-05Hi , I'm getting anxious about my LO's walking development.. he will turn 15 months old on 15 Jan. He started crawling and cruising at 7-8 months old. Right now , he is able to walk with us holding his hands but so far I don't see him attempting to walk on his own yet. My elder one started walking at 11 months so I'm quite worried .. am I worrying for nothing?
My mil kept asking me why he hasn't walk yet and kept saying that she wants to boil the frog soup for him.. haiz.. she said the frog soup will strengthen his legs.. sigh..
