Hi mummies, those pills or injections to "secure" the womb or baby during pregnancy, are they good or do they have any side effects? Gynae is suggesting that maybe I might want to consider the options as I kept having bad cramps as though I'm gonna deliver. In my 25 weeks now.

No side effects. I took oral daily and also jab 2x weekly for first trimester. Maybe just more water retention? It's just hormones like the ones ur body have. U have even come to the stage of bad cramps n Gyne recommended so so I think u should go for it and not waste time reading abt other pple' opinions and experiences because "other pple" are most likely not doctors and don't know ur medical profile.

I wasn't offered any injections. Mine was under control with pills. If it were to be worse, i would have to take the jab.
