I want a healthy and happy baby too but many times the fear and worrying keep coming to my mind frequently…

- 2024-01-30Mommies how do you cope to stay sane to know how baby is progressing till your next scan. I had mine last week at 6 weeks. Doc gave me feb 13th for my next scan...
- 2024-01-30I am apparently 6 weeks 4 days on my Flo app and I went for my first gynae appointment today at SGH. Did both ultra sound & transvaginal scan, doctor can’t see anything and I was referred to do a blood test and a more detailed scan later. I’m so scared and anxious. Doctor say I may be too early. Anyone experience this before?
- 2024-01-30Hi mummies, when baby has start solid at 6 months, if we’re out, how do i pack baby’s food or do i just give those packed purees/baby food available at stores ?
Example if we have a homemade food like porridge, i need it to last till nught, can i just put in those food thermos ? Or itll go bad/sour after few hours?
Im a ftm and im so confused about baby’s solid. And for 6 months, how often to feed baby solid? Like is it a must to feed during breakfast lunch and dinner ? Or its actually up to us when we want to feed ? Cause their main source is still milk.
- 2024-01-30Hi mummies, when theres festive season like cny or hari raya, theres definitely house visitings until night.
However when you have a baby, that has a routine especially bedtime or night routine, how do you manage it.
Hari raya is coming in few months time and I am anxious. by then my baby would be 6months++. For now his bedtime would usually be 7/8+pm and sleep till next morning if no disruption.
Would you try to go back by baby’s bedtime or just let baby sleep in your arms/carrier and continue visiting ?
My baby sometimes when his sleep gets disrupted or he gets overtired (eg he cant sleep cause very noisy) he’ll cry murder.

- 2024-01-30Hi mummies i have a very important question about baby’s formula milk and i am confused.
Applies only for formula milk. When baby’s intake is 150ml, we pour water 150ml then put the formula powder, itll become like 160/170ml right.
If baby end up not finishing certain amount like 40ml, how do i determine the amount he drank? As i am consistently taking down baby’s intake.
Is it 150ml - 40ml OR 160/170ml - 40ml?
Cause for now i just take it as 150ml - 40ml.
I am so confused.
- 2024-01-30Hi mummies, FTM here...
Just wanted to ask for some opinions and thoughts. I am currently in my 3rd Trimester (36 weeks) and recently had bought some cleaning items from shopee in preparation for cny. Bought this brand of floor cleaner "Ajax" and to my horror the smell is very very strong. When I asked my hubby and family members they said smells like Lavender (the fragrance) but to me it smells terrible. So much so I had to throw it away without having ever opened it. Now the cupboard that I usually store my household cleaning items is full of the smell and despite me airing it for a few days I can still smell it (though my husband said to him it smells faint). I am very concerned will it harm my baby and what should I do now... Not sure if I am overthinking but now I am thinking back to when I do my laundry for the past few months - not sure if expose to detergent is it harmful also. I don't have help at home so mostly my husband and I doing housework.
Not sure if any mummy can provide your insights pls... thank you in advance.#pleasehelp #firsttimemom #worrier
- 2024-01-30I am so triggered and fuming mad. Why MILs always very stubborn and will never listen to us. Im staying with my MIL, they have 4 cats. All have their own behaviour. Will pee, poop and even puke on the floor.
I am very particular about my 4 months old’s hygiene and health as he falls sick quite easily (esp when he’s attending ifc).
She was holding my baby and my baby’s pacifier fall on the floor. Me and my husband told her to not use it and leave it, take a new one. She just wash with tap water and shove it in my baby’s mouth again. So my husband told her again dont use it but she ignore. Wtf is wrong with her ? Just wash with tap water can clean dirt and bacteria meh esp when cats always do business on the floor. AND THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES!
Im so effing pissed she will never think shes wrong shes always right. Exactly the reason why i hated her and sometimes i dont even want my baby to go to her.
- 2024-01-30Hi mummies, when your baby has fever, and need to give panadol, if its during feeding time, do you feed before or after feed ?
I tried giving baby panadol after milk, but he rejected it not sure if because he’s already very full or if it tasted bitter.
Baby is 4m old. So end up he either reject the panadol or only consume very little. I usually give using bottle teat so he would suck and it wont spill, but i tried syringe too bt he would spit it out
- 2024-01-30I'm kinda of worried. My LO just started to solids this few days and the milk intake dips. From total intake of 650ml dip to 400ml.What should I do?I tried to force feed my LO to drink but she refused. And suddenly there is change in her sleeping pattern. Now she is deep sleep from 2030 onwards and will refused 2100 and midnight feeds. She refused to be dream feed now.
- 2024-01-30Not baby related, but asking about BTO procedure.
I applied for May BTO and got a ballot number, within the quota. However uptil now theres still no news on the appt for flat selection. Bedok south blossom.
If we have yet to do flat selection, can we apply for another bto/sbf sales launch at the same time ?
- 2024-01-30is anyone facing similar situation whereby baby (1m old) only sleeps when u carry, and wakes up once u put down in the cot? any ways to make baby slp? am avoiding yao lan currently as its risky if baby flips etc.

1. Stress Reduction:
Pet spas create serene environments designed to minimize stress. The calming ambiance, gentle handling, and soothing treatments contribute to a relaxed and content state of mind for your pets.
2. Healthy Skin and Coat:
Spa treatments often include grooming sessions that go beyond aesthetics. They promote a healthy coat by removing loose fur, preventing matting, and ensuring the distribution of natural oils for a glossy shine.
3. Joint and Muscle Relaxation:
Massage techniques employed during spa sessions aid in joint and muscle relaxation. This is particularly beneficial for older pets or those with arthritis, contributing to increased flexibility and comfort.
4. Improved Circulation:
The gentle strokes and massages used in spa sessions enhance blood circulation. Improved circulation contributes to overall health, promoting vitality and reducing the risk of certain health issues.

Pet spas often incorporate aromatherapy and calming techniques. Scented oils and gentle music create an atmosphere of tranquility, further enhancing the relaxation and well-being of your pets.

- 2024-01-30hi mummies, is anyone else in the situation as im in?
im getting kind of tired of pumping— feels like such a chore now and washing all the bottles and equipment afterwards just makes me dread pumping even more. nowadays, im starting to forget my pumping schedule and would result in missed sessions. i realised my supply has also dropped and was thinking of just getting LO to try and latch.
has anyone switched from bottle to direct latch? please share some of your experiences and some tips and tricks that have helped LO to latch after being bottle-fed?
thank you in advance! 🫶🏽
- 2024-01-30My baby should be getting bigger now but somehow the kicks are less frequent and not as strong as before when I was 22 weeks pregnant. It is somewhat worrying because on some days, there is almost no movement. #firsttimemom Should I be concern? #advicemommies #advicepls
- 2024-01-30Hi mummies, my 5mo baby always fight naps. She shows tired cues but when we want to pat her on bed or carry her to pat her, she will cry murder or push away. It takes awhile to calm her down before she falls asleep. Is this normal? How can I help her to go to sleep happily, without struggle? I feel like I’m not doing things right and causing my baby to cry so much 😢
- 2024-01-30How do you deal with friends/family who schedules meet up in the evening? Most of them expects you to turn up with the baby and stay till late, but I’m not willing to mess up my lo sleep schedule which is at 8-9pm.
- 2024-01-30So pissed off with my MIL. Its always okay for her to say dont do this and that. Always have to listen. But when i say wash your hands when you touch the cats since it is not a stay home cat before touching my LO, she got pissed then i try to be on a nice side to ask if wan to carry my LO. She just say dowan with a pissed face. Lol. When i told her not to come in room when my LO is asleep as she woke up at the creek of a door when she is sleeping in a quiet environment, Also pissed. Lol. I know its your house but please also respect privacy. When my LO wakes up im the one who have to entertain the crankness. Gosh. Cant wait for my home. Omg. So hard to please her. And to always put a fake upfront just bcuz im staying here. Ugh. She think i do cuz i hate her meh. Its only cuof my LO what. U cnt understand meh

- 2024-01-30This week, during our music lesson, children learned the song " I put my scarf on my head" and engage in using props ( scarves ) to enhance their sensory experiences and creativity.
Through this activity, children moved their bodies to the rhythm of the song and imitate actions related to putting scarf on different body parts.
They had lots of fun and enjoyed themselves dancing to the song. If you have any scarves at home, you can also play this song and let your child dance and sing along at home! ☺️

- 2024-01-31Hi Mummies,
Yesterday I got my period first time after I have had the baby.
My baby is 10 months old and it was a c section delivery.
Although I am experiencing this period to be very different than my pre baby periods. There is no pain or cramping which used to be the case earlier and the flow is also not very heavy.
I am not sure if this is normal? Any mummies can share their experience please ? How long will this period last?
Thank you!

- 2024-01-31Mummies anyone experiencing LO only wanna drink milk when she sleep? And not always successful.
In the end we started solid earlier, but all the more she dont want to drink alamak
Milk intake drop from 800-400ml! That is almost half… and the gap between milk is 6hours,10-12 hours kind. Such a stressful journey
But she eats solid super well! LO is now 5.5 months
I even bought the bottle feeding aversion from rowena bennett. The solution is to stop solid temporary. I am abit scared to follow this method in case baby in the end become dehydrated.
Please help!!

My mother in law insist that I do not need the test as this is usually for mummies in the late thirties.. but I feel like I just wanna do the test just to be extra safe.. what are your thoughts?
- 2024-02-01Is it normal for baby’s top of head, soft spot, to be a little sunken at time?
Sometimes its ok sometimes its a little sunken. I read that it might be due to dehydration but he’s active and drinking well. Pee also normal alot. 6-7 diapers
Any mummies face same thing? Is there anything i should worry about?

- 2024-02-01Currently 8 weeks. No symptoms like vomiting. Just nauseous on certain days. Don't even feel pregnant at all. Still have energy to do house chores. Somedays baby bump is obvious. Some days it's not. Anyone went through the same?
- 2024-02-01Hi, im in my 5 months pregnancy. Starting of pregnancy i was happy about it when im at work ( shift )and my spouse shows support. But ever since my work put me in office hrs, i feel sad. Maybe due to environment change , change in colleague too. Slowly my spouse support i don't feel it too. My spouse intimacy level is not there even before i was pregnant. He always sleeps and play phone when he's at home. Im starting to blame myself if i was unattractive and boring to him. I sacrifice my time so much for him. But he always pity others instead of me. I feel like i wasn't cared for. I felt lonely. At this time i feel like not having this pregnancy. I just feel like i don't care about it. Im really stress out. I don't have anyone to talk to. My family isn't one i can talk to. I have no friends. I just want to be left alone after the only person i expect to be there isn't there for me ( my spouse ) . Help maybe. Im really at my end.
- 2024-02-01Any working mummy here have to provide your baby’s mc whenever you want to take childcare leave ? So technically can only take when baby is sick
I dont recall MOM stating we need to provide mc cause some days i would need to take care of my baby due to some reasons or when his ifc close.
However my company says i need to provide my baby’s mc which i find ridiculous.

- 2024-02-01Hi mummies, aside from just walking around park, is there any place that we can bring our 4.5 months old out ? Sometimes i feel bad he’s always either at ifc or at home.
He’s starting to get more aware of surounding, likes to look at surroundings. Be it people, people cycling, kids at playground, vehicles passing by. Sometimes also like kpo😂
Thought of going to sea aquarium but scared he’s still too young to want to see things. Is there any like “kiztopia” but for infants😂
- 2024-02-01My 4.5 months old baby doesn’t seem to be reaching for toys hanging above him when I place him lying flat on those play gym set. I see babies actively reaching out to toys hanging about them at this age. He can hold things when we hand it to him but he doesn’t reach out… is this normal? Anything to be concerned about?

- 2024-02-02Hello mamas!
We had initially opted KKH subsidised route for the referral letter & have went for our first appt. However, we might change our mind to go under subsidised route with another government hospital (undecided).
Does anyone know if this is possible / doable? If so, how? #advicemommies #advicepls #firsttimemom
Thanks!
- 2024-02-02Anyone has the what’s app link to join the Aug EDD chat group ?
- 2024-02-02In my 11 weeks of pregnancy, but I kept having bad thoughts that I would lose my baby. Basically because a few of my friends miscarriage. One week of not going for gynae checks, I’ll start to worry and wondering how is my baby inside. Also because I have no pregnant symptoms and that kept me worried too.

- 2024-02-02Is there any ways to naturally induce/kickstart labor/contractions? As Gynae mention if baby by EDD not yet out will have to induce... I'm currently 38+1, not much time left till my EDD. Gynae have told me induce will take longer time up till 24 hours.
I have heard people say walk more or try having sex. If walk, how long should the duration be? As for sex, when to start trying or try during week 39? Any other natural ways? Though I know it may not works for everyone...

- 2024-02-02I am currently at week 21 and my feelings have been emotional and sensitive. I don’t know why I feel upset over some small things that my husband has done. It’s actually not a big deal to me before pregnancy.
But somehow it affects me and I just feel like crying out. My tears cannot seem to stop flowing out. I felt like I have nobody to talk to because people will think I’m crazy and ridiculous, and I still have to act strong and normal in front of others while being upset.
How do you all handle your emotions? 😔 how to stay happy?

- 2024-02-03Hi, im currently 6 weeks pregnant, seeing a private clinic. Im thinking of switching to KK Subsidized patient for my first and second trimester and then maybe change to KK Private at my third trimester because i read that the price difference for KK Subsidized is really big but i would also prefer one doctor seeing me knowing my condition better . But i also heard that KK private is actually more expensive than normal private
Any mummies done it like this before, able to give some advice or guides on this?
