- 2023-12-18How long did your baby stayed positive after getting covid ?
Mine even after day 7 his line is still dark, altho no more symptoms, is it because he’s unvaccinated? Is he still contagious ?
- 2023-12-18My 14 mths old baby just recovered from Covid a week ago and he doesn't seems to eat as much as before, has been having rice, vege, meat etc for his daily meal. Now only to eat a few bites, and mostly drink milk and water. Does it affect his appetite, is there a possibility of him lossing his taste bud due to Covid? Will he regain his taste bud? If yes how long it will take to regain it? For now what I can give him for nutrients? #pleasehelp

- 2023-12-18Hello Mummies!
Am going to deliver in TMC - 4bedded, natural w epidural (hopefully) in a few weeks time. Was wondering regarding hospital bills... if we are unable to pay the hospital bills, due to emergency c-sec / unforeseen medical issues etc etc., what are our options ?
We tried asking TMC but no replies from them... My apologies if this is a dumb question as I'm not very sure on this...
Thank u!

- 2023-12-18Hi mummies, when you start giving water and solids to your baby once they hit 6 months or so, how do you introduce it and how much to give?
How much water to give at one time or in a day?
Do i still give in his milk bottle?
And how much of solid (eg porridge) to give at one meal? And how many times a day/at what time and how to interval with his milk feeding?
for porridge can use any rice grain? Same as what we eat as adult?
What kind of food can i start introduce aside from porridge.
Thanks alot mummies!

- 2023-12-20My baby started sleeping through the night when he turns 2+months old, from 6+pm to 5am+.
but is it normal some days they would wake up in the middle of the night for feed?
It happened yesterday, he suddenly doesnt want to nap during the day and nighttime, slept at 6+ then woke up at 7+pm and only slept back at 9+pm and woke up in the middle of the night 2am, which didnt happened for quite awhile and im scared this will be his new routine and he wont sleep through the night anymore.
Does it happen to you your LO?

- 2023-12-20Hello everybody!
we are a interracial race couple (Chinese wife - Malay Husband) . Our baby will be due next year & currently we are thinking of baby names. We would like her to pick up Chinese language, thus would have a Chinese name as well.
So we are wondering, how would the name be like ? And how would her birth cert/IC be ? 🤔🤔🤔
Can we put, for example: Jayleen Tan Binte , Alias: Tan Hui En ?
Would appreciate if there's any examples for reference ! ✨

- 2023-12-20I’m 11 weeks pregnant right now and last night I had extremely bad cramps until I was cold sweating and almost felt like puking or fainting because it was so painful. In the end I diarrhoea and the pain went away after awhile. Is this normal? Isit just a bad stomach pain? Currently it doesn’t hurt anymore but it hurt so bad last night that I’m worried 😅
- 2023-12-20When do you/can you start exercising when pregnant? Prior to getting pregnant, I was doing HIIT 1 hour x2 a week, now I can barely do 30mins without feeling unwell. I'm listening to my body because I'm feeling still nauseous in early 2nd trimester, so im not going to push too hard:( I did abit of swimming, but also cannot sustain for too long.
When did u start exercising again? I'm feeling very sluggish without it- but it could be due to the pregnancy.
- 2023-12-20Hi, anyone is still deciding or already decided on which hospital to deliver? What are your key considerations? Currently seeing gynea at Parkway East but contemplating whether to switch to KKH as a private given the cost difference. Any experience to share? Thank you
- 2023-12-20I feel so down and sad and tired. My baby used to sleep through the night starting from 2.5months. Every single day. Really slept from 6pm to 5am next morning. No night feedings no fussiness no crying.
But suddenly last 2 days, exactly when he turns 3 months, suddenly he refused to nap, did not sleep until 9+pm and even woke up in the middle of the night crying.
Today he cried so bad uncontrollably without reason for like 15 mins straight. And he’s more fussy/cranky out of nowhere. Not his feeding time, stomach not bloated etc.
Is this growth spurt ? Or just random stage of his life. Im so tired and drained out and really miss when he slept through the night and slept early.
Im scared he will no longer sleep through the night anymore 😭
And yes i did what i usually do. Close all light except small night light, no talking, white noise, swaddle, change diaper, feed etc.

- 2023-12-22Can I take sunflower lecithin(Brand Legendairy milk) and fenugreek together? because Ive been taking fenugreek for quite some time due to my milk supply use to be low but now is increasing little by little, and now I have clogged ducts and milk bleb on my nipple. I heard lecithin helps with clogged ducts, can I take them while also consuming fenugreek(brand Lac).
- 2023-12-22I am first time mum btw, husband works in the day so I take care of baby in the day and at night we share the responsibilities. However hubby can't make the baby sleep, can't feed the baby, the only thing he can do is change baby diaper and so everything else I have to do myself.
For your info, husband can't make baby sleep because his "tactic" is to stuff pacifier into baby screaming mouth and that's it. I tell him to carry baby and rock him, but he just do like a robot and baby screaming like no tmr and I have to take him back. Thought to let him practice more but after a few days he show me his arms saying baby gave him rashes so he gonna try other method. He tries putting baby in those movable cot and push it and seems like a bit working, though takes very long, but after a few days he say his arms and leg breaking with this way. In the end always end up i put baby to sleep.
Feeding milk also the same. Baby always screams when he feeds. He very robot, don't know how to soothe baby, just take out bottle when baby arch his back and stuff it back in his mouth when he screams. Then tell me baby don't want to drink.
I thought of just asking him to change bb diaper only and wash bottles, but then he will be deprived of learning and bonding with baby. What to do? Haiz...
- 2023-12-22FTM here .. Just asking - if anyone travel with husband without LO? My husband wanted to treat us to a little getaway for a 8 days trip..
my MIL and mom are both supportive as they mentioned that we won't be able to enjoy as next time wherever we go we have to bring LO already.. LO will be around 6 months old if we were travel.. my mom will be taking care of LO full time when I end my maternity leave.
I'm in a delimma as I couldn't bear to part with my LO. But my husband keep encouraging me to "let go" and enjoy this trip as we may not be able to fully enjoy with Just 2 of us once LO is older.
- 2023-12-22Hi mums. Had very bad period cramps after birth of child 6 mths ago and found out sex could lessen the cramps. Thing is, my period was on time as per my app but i only bled on first day and spotting the second day. Third and fourth was clear but had lil bit of cramps so we tried and it was unprotected. Day after, zero blood but white discharge! Will i get pregnant from the unprotected sex considering it is still my period window? 😭

- 2023-12-23My mil and my hubby has been feeding the baby water as she has a bit of jaundice. She is only 7 days old and I know that babies this young shouldn't even have water at all and I couldn't do anything to stop them from feeding her water. It really makes me worry alot if anything will happen to baby. Any other moms experiencing the same issue? How do I make them stop feeding her water? #firsttimemom #pleasehelp #advicepls
