When to start buying?
My EDD is in May 2024. Should i start buying necessities like breast pumps, UV sterilizer, milk bottles etc this year to take advantage of end year promotions and to beat the GST increase next year?
Breast pumps and UV I would wait till nearer to EDD as it has warranty, usually 6 months - 1 year. I personally find it more ex to repair after warranty period compared to the GST difference but you do you. For those with expiry dates (eg detergent, lotion, body wash) can buy 1 - 2 weeks before EDD since shopee/Lazada delivery usually delivers within 3 days. For strollers, cots, car seats, towels all these up to you, can buy now. 😊 Milk bottles if can get free from insurance talks then get it cause you don’t know if baby can accept certain brands, so not advisable to stock up. I bought Tommee tippee and received Hegen from friends, baby ended up preferring the free Avent bottles 😂.
