How long baby positive covid until negative
How long did your baby stayed positive after getting covid ? Mine even after day 7 his line is still dark, altho no more symptoms, is it because he’s unvaccinated? Is he still contagious ?
My boy had Covid when he was about 2.5months. His symptoms subsided after a week but he was positive till about 2 weeks or so. Drs at the hospital mentioned that for babies it will take longer for virus to wear off as they’re still so young and tiny. They shared that they have seen cases where the baby is positive for up to a month. But do monitor your baby if they’re in any pain or distress. Contagious or not I’m not sure. But we quarantined our LO in the room together with us at home, just that we wore masks to protect ourselves from the virus. No issue whatsoever. ☺️
