- 2022-10-24On my 14th week, not used to sleeping on the left side. I felt that side sleeping made me back pain. I tried using clevamama , but not sure am I using it correct because I'm still having back pain. Felt that the back support wasn't strong. Is it normal to feel back pain from side sleeping ? Any tips on sleeping posture or how to reduce this ?
- 2022-10-24I’m now 10weeks in, have been waking up frequently to pee in the middle of the night, but I feel pretty wide awake in the early mornings around 5+ 6am even though I usually wake up around 9am. Why is this so? And what can help with better sleep?
- 2022-10-24About 6 weeks in and been feeling light cramps that comes on and off. Is it normal? Had a miscarriage before so am quite scared. Did not experience the light cramps before.
- 2022-10-24Prevention is better so I start using Bio oil since I get my BFP. I like how it is non-greasy and fully absorbed to skin.
- 2022-10-24I am a lazy bum to do skincare. Mainly because I don’t like if my face is left oily or sticky. But this water gel is amazing. It’s cooling when u put it on and absorb well when applying. Best part is not sticky after applying.
- 2022-10-24I am using this wedge type pillow. Even if I turn flat unconsciously, the wedge supports my back to be elevated. So I am not totally lying flat on my back. Less space required and easy to cuddle.

- 2022-10-24Rest assured to leave your meal and let zuoyuefood to serve. Expert and professional. The food matches the confinement need and the taste is on restaurant quality! Not oily not salty and the portion is big enough. Will definitely order again with them for my next delivery.

I'm so worried and my husband always say I worry too much and think too much. But I'm just very worry and want the best for my baby and I'm afraid my emotions will effect me. #pleasehelp #advicepls

- 2022-10-24I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and while at the toilet I saw some brown discharge at my pantyliner. No other symptoms that is worrying though. Is it a sign that my baby has turn and my uterus is thinning to prepare for labour? (Hopefully full term) need help!#firsttimemom
- 2022-10-24What a great service and app for today’s hectic schedule!
- 2022-10-24I need some advice please. I opted for elective C-Sect but I only have 7 Dec available (EDD 9 dec). Gynae said that at any time before that i could be in labor hence it will automatically be Natural Delivery. IF i insist on C-Sect, it will then be an Emergency C-Sect. My reason for opting for an Elective C-Sect is because i am home alone most of the time as my husband works 12-hrs shift. Is Induce a good idea to request 37 weeks onwards? I am just afraid if i get the pain from home, i'm worried about the journey, needing to wait for my husband to come home or my mom to arrive or whoever yknow.
- 2022-10-24Any mummies who suffers from post covid fatigue? I am 33 weeks pregnant and just recovered from covid and feeling extremely fatigue. Gets breathless very easily, even when i walk few steps to the toilet. Any tips on how to recover from this fatigue?
Edit: while I understand everyone goes through the same post covid, i was actually asking especially those who are pregnant coz as you know, when you’re pregnant, only certain medications are allowed, not forgetting the heavy belly, the trips to bathroom, body aches etc.

- 2022-10-25Hi mummies. I just had a positive test yesterday after a week late period. Its gonna be my first pregnancy. Clear blue digital says i’m 1-2 weeks but app say 5 weeks. Anyways, i’m not sure what to do now. Do i make an appointment at poly first or straight to hospital? If poly first, should i just book the normal doctor consult appointment or is there a specific type of appointment to book? And when should i book the appointment? All advice is appreciated. Thank youuuu 💗 #firsttimemom #plsadvice

Could this be ligament pain or early labour that my body is preparing? It has been ongoing for few days, even when I woke up from sleep thinking the pain will go away. Help :( #firsttimemom

- 2022-10-25Love the way that they did up the room for kids, it is so spacious and lovely. The toys and the climb up beds are so cute, the whole experience is simply wonderful.
- 2022-10-25I enjoyed their food as they are healthy and taste like home-cooked food. Rice is unique with different varieties. The soups have quality ingredients; eg entire salmon steak inside or with quality herbs. Yummy!

- 2022-10-25One of the best decisions I've ever made in life was to deliver at MENH ! Food was superb - Think lobsters , beef , abalone porridge. Service was outstanding ! everyone I crossed path with went the extra mile . Privacy - All rooms are one bedder , gives you all the peace & privacy to indulge in your newborn and rest. I will not choose any other hospital in future but Mount E Novena

- 2022-10-25Hello,
Anyone knows when MC is used up, can employer force us to take AL? Or will it become unpaid leave? Ever since I got pregnant, my immune system has been very low. I’ve gotten stomach flu twice and a sore throat as well. Including my visits to the doctors, I only left 1 day for this year. I still have prenatal check up in end Oct, Nov and Dec. so I need minimum another 3 days. I don’t really want to touch my AL as I plan to use it to go on maternity leave earlier next year.
- 2022-10-25Hi does any mummy have experience being delivered by Dr Ng Zheng Yuan? May I know the delivery process at KKH? Are we assisted by the midwife/nurses or the gynae we see every month? I am actually a subsidised patient but I am assigned to the same doctor during every check up. Not sure if I should change to private (also unsure if it is too late since I’m 36 weeks).

- 2022-10-26Hello!
I tested positive after missing my period for a few days, initially its was just some spotting but as the days go my bleeding became more heavier and even have chunks of blood clots, I'm almost 5week pregnant I have check up with a gynae but my sac was not able to be seen over the ultrasound,
Doctor say It might be due to too the fact that's it's too early to been seen or I might have miscarry it.
Any mummy out there have experience the excessive bleeding with blood clots? Please advice ☹️

- 2022-10-27My experience with PNSG has been excellent, thanks to the team! They are always on time. The massage bed was comfortable, all the equipment arrived at my house in one piece, and the setup was a breeze. The massage was a nice way to relax, and it felt great! - 2022-10-27I was so excited to try Tian Wei Signature's post-pregnancy confinement meal package! Been hearing about them from all my friends when they heard I was nearing my EDD. I was so happy to finally be able to worry less about my meals choices and focus on recovering! Oh, their meals are also nourishing and help to replenish my body.
- 2022-10-27Handy for headaches. Bit on expensive side. 10$ per strip is not worth it. Can get other brands for lesser price.

- 2022-10-27I booked a confinement nanny for my wife, which was one of my best decisions. She took great care of my baby and wife. I am glad that I have engaged the services of PEM and highly recommend them to anyone who needs help during confinement.
Thank you PEM for coordinating and ensuring a smooth process!

- 2022-10-27Hi guys, so perhaps a weird yet sensitive post seeking advice: if friends want to visit your newborn baby, how do you tell them to not bring their children along when visiting?
The issue I have is that the friend's kids (a 5yr old and a 3.5 yr and) are extremely badly behaved and disrespectful and their parents are fully aware and accepting of this behavior.
Whenever I don't want them (the kids) to do something in my home, I'll tell them to stop it in front of their parents. The kids completely ignore me and their mother just laughs about it. Case in point: a few weeks ago, the 5yr old boy comes to the side of the couch where I'm sitting (I'm heavily pregnant) and starts vigorously jumping. I ask him to stop and sit down, he looks at his mother, shakes his head indicating he won't stop, and continues to jump on my couch. His mother laughs and does nothing.
There are other despicable things that this 5yr boy does as well... He recently tried to stick his had in my shirt when we visited them, on a more recent occasion he stripped naked in my home the last time they visited us then sat on my sofa and started playing with his penis. Again, all this was done in the presence of his mother who again just laughed it off and did nothing to stop or correct that behavior.
It's gotten to the point where it really makes my uneasy with having him around me - let alone anywhere close to my baby. His parents stated that they want to visit us after the baby is here and I don't want to ruin the friendship. How do I ask them to not bring their children without hurting the parents' feelings?
- 2022-10-27Hi all,
1st time pregnant and currently am at my 7th week. Just found that there is a fetal pole but yet to have any heartbeat. Yesterday me and my husband did it and I have been bleeding. I saw something jelly like with a little blood coming out. Is it something I need to worry about to see the doc? I’m due for my next scan next week to find if there is a heartbeat.
- 2022-10-27Highly recommend 🌟! Big thanks to the TWSG team. My first time ordering confinement food from them was a delicious experience. Besides, the portions are so generous that I often have enough for my husband to join in. Haishhh...I'm going to miss the food. Thanks for your good service.
- 2022-10-27I can honestly say that prenatal massage services were some of the most relaxing and enjoyable moments of my pregnancy. I'm extremely satisfied with the level of service and overall experience. The masseuse was skilled and worked all my knots out. The prenatal massage was so relaxing that I decided to sign up for a postnatal package. Will definitely recommend PNSG to those who are looking for a good massage!
- 2022-10-27hello mummies! anyone gave birth in kkh under the subsidised route? want to know roughly how much is the total bill and how much medisave can be claimed! and, can we choose wat kind of wards we want?#plsadvice
- 2022-10-27If you're like me and looking for a prenatal and postnatal massage therapy provider, here’s a tip - PNSG! The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in providing traditional Javanese massages that are perfect for pregnant and postnatal women. The massages helped me to relieve aches and pains from my pregnancy. Overall, very pleased with their service and them coming to me to massage me is also a plus point!
- 2022-10-27I'm so glad I found PNSG for my prenatal and postnatal massage therapy. The staff are all so friendly and professional, and they really know how to help relieve pain and tension. The massage packages they offer include both prenatal and postnatal massages, which was perfect for me. My muscles and joints felt so much better after just a few sessions, and will definitely recommend PNSG to anyone looking for pregnancy-related massages in the future.
- 2022-10-27I’m on my week12. Doctor prescribe me to eat multivitamin, DHA and calcium tablets. I had it, but feeling damn uncomfortable the whole day. My nauseous got worst and keep having the urge to vomit..
- 2022-10-27First Baby. Would like to seek advice on when I should start my maternity leave? #advicepls Is it too late for me to start at Week 37 + 4?
- 2022-10-27I loved their breast massage! After delivery, I signed up for a breast massage session, which relieves engorgement and helps with the milk flow. The session was always relatively painless and relaxing, and I even managed to nod off during the session. Thumbs up for the excellent service. If you're looking for a good engorgement massage, PNSG is the place to go!
- 2022-10-27I had 10 postnatal massage sessions with PNSG, and my massage therapist was excellent! She was very skilled and knew how to help me. She gave me tips on improving my body after pregnancy and was great at relieving all of my aches and pains. Enjoyed her professionalism and 5-star treatment. I would definitely recommend PNSG to my friends!!
- 2022-10-27Very professional and friendly staff! They also have holiday camps for kids, always good to know ;)
- 2022-10-27Hi Mummies,
I experience mild poking kind of feeling in my lower abdomen but it is very on and off.
For example yesterday so felt it frequently but today I haven’t felt it at all.
Is this normal ?
This is my first pregnancy so a bit worried
#firstbaby #plsadvice
- 2022-10-27Baby breech and placenta low lying at 20weeks. What should i do? Should i be worried?
- 2022-10-27I love the meals and different varieties everyday. It’s delicious and flavorful unlike others that my friends have tried. Will definitely go for tianwei again for future confinement meals.
- 2022-10-27Fuss free meals during confinement. Food were delicious and was just the right amount of portion. They are very flexible and customer service was great. Would order again in the future.
- 2022-10-27I'm so glad I found PEM Nanny Agency when I was pregnant! I was nervous about finding a confinement nanny after giving birth, but PEM made the process so easy. They definitely have the most qualified and experienced nannies on their roster.
My nanny was amazing! She cooked nutritious meals, helped guide me on breastfeeding, and kept my house clean. She really made the post-birth period much easier for me. I would highly recommend PEM Nanny Agency to anyone looking for a post-childbirth confinement nanny.
- 2022-10-27I was so lucky to have found PEM Nanny Agency when I was pregnant and in need of a post-childbirth confinement nanny. Their service was super professional and my nanny was amazing. She followed all of the post-childbirth confinement guidelines that were needed and helped me recover quickly and also made things easier for me around the house. I would definitely be happy to recommend PEM Nanny Agency to anyone who needs a confinement nanny after birth.
- 2022-10-27I look forward to receive the meals every day. The delivery uncle is very nice and on-time and the food is still warm! It really helped to increase my breast milk. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
- 2022-10-27PEM’s nanny is so nice, she took super good care of our newborn and even thought us how to care for our baby. She also helped to make confinement food for me and guided me on how to breastfeed. Thank you so much for the great care!
- 2022-10-27For our second baby, we decided to hire a nanny to spare myself some time from watching over two kids. The nanny from PEM was such a great help. The thing I like the most was the daily baby log update, I was able to keep track, adjust, and learn from her to give better care to my newborn. My elder kid loved playing with her as well! Many thanks!
- 2022-10-27i'm finally having covid with mild symptoms - fever, cough/sore throat & flu.
now i'm confused if this Covid or this pregnancy is making me hungry every 10 mins 🤣
still energetic, able to do housework and cook myself some porridge.
but the best thing of all is to finally feel baby's kicking & punching when i placed my hands on me tummy, compared to previous bubbles & vibrations. guess it's a good time for us to spend time together!
pray to all mothers at this stage for speedy recovery for those that are affected. 🫶🏻
- 2022-10-27Hi, anyone have any tips on how to stop vomitting especially everytime after meals? Ive lost so much weight.

- 2022-10-27Currently my 1 month old baby having a fever and a stomach flu doctor says there’s no medicine for it but what should I do to make him feel better
And my son drink formula only can I start breastfeeding only when his sick or having fever
And stop after his feeling well ?
Reasons for not breastfeeding is (small nipple uncomfortable) and pump are expensive
- 2022-10-27I’m extremely paranoid. I’ve lost all or most of my symptoms suddenly. Including my morning sickness, nausea and etc but I’ve just went to the gynae a week back and all the scans are great. Just got my NICE test result via sms and everything is good. However, the lack of symptom is making me worried . Should I visit the gynae or wait for my next appointment in 2 weeks time?

- 2022-10-28Hi,
Jus wondering completely avoiding taking rice ( carbo ) will harm the baby or not? My sis who is pregnant now skip taking rice every meal. She said doc told her not to take carbo...lol. thats insane right?! She is into her last mth pregnancy now, but she still doesnt wan to take any rice plus she is avoiding eating alot, evrytime saw her eat small bowl of vege and meat only & she has been skipping rice intake since the day she's pregnant. She's healthy , no high blood pressure, why she is doing this, i totally confuse...
I jus wan to understand whats the logic behind for not taking rice? So that can slim back faster?
#advicepls
- 2022-10-28Hello Mummies. I am 35 weeks turning 36. Baby is approximately 2.4kg, Gynae says he is big and needs me to go on a diet :(

- 2022-10-28Hello all. This is my first post here. I am currently tested positive. This is my 2nd pregnancy as the previous one ended up in a miscarriage. I had a super bad experience with SGH and wondering if there's any mummies here who could recommend me a gynae who is specialised for type1 diabetic pregnancies?
- 2022-10-28My 3 week old has been having diarrhea for a week. Went to PD, PD advised to change to lactose free formula or Isomil. He's been on Isomil for a week already but still having diarrhea. How long will it take for the diarrhea to resolve? Or shld I change to another lactose free formula? Any recommendations?
- 2022-10-28Flexible and able to cater to customers’ requests. Thank you!
- 2022-10-28Love the food and soup. The soup is always served piping hot. The food portion is great as I am always hungry after breastfeeding.
Customer service is great too and they are able to accommodate to my meal skip request.

- 2022-10-28May this pregnancy be a smooth one . Im kinda anxious and worried , paranoid at times too , knowing that ive had miscarriage last year .. :(
- 2022-10-28Great customer service and food. They also have a non-pork option for Hindus.
- 2022-10-28What I like about them is their reponsiveness and flexibility. When I feedback to them to cut down on the saltiness and sweetness, they were very quick to respond and adjust to my spouse's request. Taste was good. Favourite dishes are the cod fish, egg fried rice, tofu, western style dishes like italian herb chicken and pumpkin soup (which was a nice change to the usual confinement food). Very reliable delivery, always punctual.
All in all, a reliable caterer I will recommend.
- 2022-10-28Hi, anyone know the charges for emergency caesarean for KKH subsided patient? Thanks in advance!
- 2022-10-28Hi mummies! Just had my scan at KKH and the doc mentioned that my boy is in a breech position and that there is a chance that he will not flip for me to have a safe natural birth. She only gave 2 options which are to do a csec or to manually turn baby.
Any mummies out there had a breech baby and baby managed to turn on its own later on/got a doc to do manual turning? Also, any suggestions on what i can do to help baby with turning on his own? Hoping to really have a natural birth as long as baby is safe and healthy.

- 2022-10-28Hellooo Mamas, I just stepped into week 11. From week 5-9 I was feeling uncomfy all day, queasy, nauseous, gasy saliva, bloated, super tired. Suddenly week 9 I became super hungry and need to eat every 2-3 hours. Nausea was suddenly all gone! But in week 10.5, the same feeling came back to haunt me all over again. I thought situation should improve already? I'm beginning to think whether the MS will go away after T1 like what people say, or will I be like this for 10 months 😭 anyone been there done that can share some hope? It will help a lot, thank you!!!
- 2022-10-28Hi Mummies, i am trying to conceive but still
unable to use the pregnancy test kit yet as i am
1 week away from my upcoming period, doubt
the result will be accurate. However, last night i
experience white discharge and some mild
cramps at the lower tummy. This morning I felt
a little nauseated and didnt have much appetite
when it comes to meat. Could only have some
carbs. Was feeling slight headache too and took
panadols.
Just out of curiosity has any mummies
experience such symptoms prior to a positive
pregnancy test/upcoming period and got
pregnant in the end? Just didnt want to take too
much medication if i am really pregnant.
Thanks!

- 2022-10-29We really like the convenience the company provides. We didn’t have to plan or think about what to have for my wife's lunch/ dinner. Or to worry about whether my wife is eating the right food for confinement. Lunch and dinner is delivered daily before lunch and dinner time. My wife is very happy with the food variety and I will definitely recommend my friends and family if they are looking for a fuss free meal options during confinement. 😄

- 2022-10-29Hi Mummies, my baby has eczema and I just started solid recently. His first food was peas which I steam and blend for him. And recently his eczema acted up. I had tried giving him apple & carrot but he does not seem to like it. I tried to give him for a few days and he will still throw up. Any recommendation on what I should give him?
- 2022-10-29I really find it annoying when people want to take my child then when they fall or injured themselves they just keep quiet. Reason? “Oh I thought nothing cause she never cry loud”. I mean I understand that babies at this stage (10mo) tends to start trying to stand and crawl more so when they fall it’s inevitable but I just hate it when they hide it from me.
Who are you to access how serious a fall is? If anything happens when I go home and I don’t know about the fall or whatever happened, then how am I supposed to react when idk anything?
If you’re afraid of me being angry then yes, tbh I will. As a parent, it’s more of a heart pain than angry when your child is sick or injured themselves. If you want to carry her away to play, (despite me already telling you that you can’t handle her) I expect you to be more alert with the surroundings and her, not 2 mins in your care then she fell.
I realized most elderly have this habit of hiding when baby falls. 😒
Thanks for hearing my rant.
