For advice- Brownish Discharge
Hi mummies! I am about 6 weeks into pregnancy and I have these brown discharge on and off. I have shared this with my gynae and she has prescribed me duphaston. Should I be worried about it?
I also had brown discharge all the way in my first trimester. I was worried it was a threatened miscarriage so I took progesterone pills administered by my OB. I also took the progesterone injection twice as a precaution but really, it’s nothing to be worried about imo as long as it’s not heavy bleeding. I have had a healthy pregnancy so far am in the last leg of my journey, week 38 today! Don’t worry too much about it. Sometimes it’s just your body reacting to all the hormones it’s producing.

My dr say Brown discharge is old blood. Normal in early pregnancy. However to go to urgent O&G if you feel pain or see any fresh red blood.
