- 2024-04-08Hi mommies.
I would like to seek some advice on whether should i go and check ultrasound early or should i wait.
I am 8 weeks pregnant (according to my lmp) but im only scheduled to visit the doctor in polyclinic on 25th April which will probably be in my 10 weeks to ask for referral to hospital. I had 2 miscarriages last year. Both times i was scheduled early for my ultrasound only to found out they couldnt detect any heartbeat yet
And at week 6 i started bleeding and eventually miscarried (for both)
Because they couldnt scan through my tummy, they have to go through scanning from below. My husband said that it could trigger the bleeding thats why we thought of waiting for abit to get scan. #adviceplease #firsttimemom

- 2024-04-08Wondering to those who have dogs/cat and have been washing your clothes with their clothes in the washing machine, how do you all handle washing your infant clothes/items.
Heard that infant clothes would be wash and handled seperately, do I need to get a washing machine just from my infant items?
Thanks!
- 2024-04-08Any recomendation for good affordable confiment food delivery services? Recently tried Tianwei and chili padi honestly taste more like normal food catering, unlike Zennovi.
However uncertain if it's just the food sample choices or are there options which don't taste like normal food catering.
- 2024-04-08Would it be too late to start engaging a CN after the first trimester? Heard some horror stories about incompetent nannies, and would like to seek friend/relative recommendations before engaging one. However, as I’m still at the 2nd mth mark, still keeping the pregnancy a secret hence it’s abit hard to ask for recommendations. Also worried that the CN are snapping up fast (due to potential dragon baby boom ) Such a dilemma now…

- 2024-04-086 week plus and sleep more than 5 hours throughout the night without feeding is it normal? Should I wake him up for feeding? I realise he was feeding 2-3 hrs in rhe day. 90-120 ml each time. He was 90ml since 3rd week but on the 5th we realise it has no longer satisfied him so after adding 30ml he stopped crying after feeding (90 + 30) and eventually we feed him 120.
- 2024-04-09Until now, I still like to stalk my ex. There's nothing wrong with it, just want to know how he's doing now. It's just fun to see their life. My husband doesn't know... Actually, my marriage is fine. But for some reason, I'm still drawn to my ex. Sometimes we call each other when I'm not at home. There's nothing weird in our conversations, just sharing stories and encouraging each other. Am I cheating?
- 2024-04-09Since giving birth, I can't have sexual intercourse. It's not really about being in pain, more like trauma. Giving birth was really painful, my labor process lasted almost 2 days because the baby didn't come out. I still remember the pain... I'm afraid that I'll always feel uncomfortable during sexual intercourse. I feel sorry for my husband...
- 2024-04-09My pregnancy is so embarrassing. At first, I was very happy with this pregnancy. But slowly, I started producing saliva in abnormal amounts 😭 No matter what, I always feel like spitting. I'm embarrassed to keep spitting. Until now, I'm ashamed to leave the house. I'm ashamed to meet people, I'm afraid of being laughed at. Why is my pregnancy like this... I want to go out without feeling embarrassed. I know my pregnancy is a blessing, my pregnancy is healthy, but I can't stand the embarrassment of having to spit all the time, I can't stand it.
Has anyone ever experienced this kind of condition during pregnancy?
- 2024-04-09I was thrilled about the impending arrival of my first baby. But as my due date drew near, I found myself tossing and turning in bed, unable to get comfortable with my growing belly. Despite feeling exhausted, sleep seemed to elude me night after night.
I worried about the impact of my sleeplessness on my baby's health. Each morning, I felt more fatigued and irritable. Seeking reassurance, I confided in my doctor, who emphasized the importance of sleep for both me and my baby.
Despite trying different pillows and relaxation techniques, my sleep troubles persisted. One fateful night, I felt a sudden pain in my stomach and rushed to the hospital with my husband by my side. The doctors explained that my lack of sleep had contributed to early labor.
Thankfully, my baby boy, Ethan, arrived safely. Holding him in my arms, I realized the importance of taking care of myself for the sake of my family. With the support of my loved ones, I resolved to find ways to get the rest I needed for both me and my precious baby.
- 2024-04-09During pregnancy, my pregnancy was very healthy and easy. I rarely felt nauseous or unwell. I always felt fit. During every check-up, there was nothing dangerous for my baby. My husband and I finally decided to have a normal delivery.
Suddenly, 5 weeks before due date, I experienced severe contractions. And it turns out I also had spotting... The doctor immediately suggested emergency cesarean surgery because suddenly my baby experienced fetal distress. It was sad, but I just wanted the best for me and my baby.

- 2024-04-10FTM here. I’m currently week 6. But I’ve been a little anxious and stressed because 2 months ago I had a chemical pregnancy so I’m particular stressed over this pregnancy.
I’m worried because I don’t have morning sickness. Previously was quite tired and hungry easily, but for the past 2 days I don’t get hungry that easily. So I’m worried if the baby is growing well.. you know how they say ur baby is growing well if u have bad morning sickness and all..
I am just very scared I will get another miscarriage because of the chemical pregnancy 2 months ago. Any moms can advise how to overcome this anxiety? :(
- 2024-04-10A professional pet grooming course is an intensive program designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills, knowledge, and certifications to pursue a career in the pet grooming industry. Pet ownership is prevalent and pets are considered cherished members of the family, the demand for skilled pet groomers continues to grow. These courses offer comprehensive training in grooming techniques, animal behavior, health and safety protocols, and business management, providing students with a solid foundation for success in this rewarding field.
The curriculum of a professional pet grooming course typically covers a wide range of topics to ensure that students develop a well-rounded skill set. Participants learn practical grooming skills such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds and coat types. They also gain proficiency in nail trimming, ear cleaning, dental care, and other grooming procedures essential for maintaining a pet’s health and hygiene. Moreover, students receive instruction on handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of both pets and pet groomers during grooming sessions.
A significant aspect of professional pet grooming courses is the emphasis on animal behavior and communication. Students learn how to interpret pet body language, recognize signs of stress or discomfort, and use positive reinforcement techniques to create a calm and cooperative grooming environment. Understanding pet behavior is essential for building trust and rapport with clients’ pets and ensuring a positive grooming experience for all parties involved.
In addition to grooming skills, professional pet grooming courses often include modules on pet health and safety. Students learn about common health issues affecting pets, proper sanitation practices, and infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases in grooming facilities. They also receive training in pet first aid, enabling them to respond effectively to emergencies and provide immediate care to injured or distressed animals.
Furthermore, professional pet grooming courses cover essential aspects of business management and customer service. Students learn about salon operations, scheduling appointments, managing client relationships, and marketing their grooming services effectively. By understanding the business side of pet grooming, graduates are better prepared to establish and manage their own grooming businesses or secure employment in established grooming salons. Whether working as independent groomers, salon managers, or mobile groomers, graduates of professional pet grooming courses play a vital role in promoting the health, happiness, and well-being of pets.

One friend don’t care and just put them in UV steriliser. May I know you guys do this as well? Will it compromise the quality of my breast pump and Haakaa?

- 2024-04-11Hi Mummies,
I need advise and tips.
Before turning 1 year old, my boy used to sleep by 8:30 pm and get up at 7 am. Ever since he turned 1 year old, he gets up at 6 am sharp every morning and won’t go back to sleep. Is this normal for 1 year olds ?
Any mummies can share any tips on what to do? Like so you give breastmilk/growing up formula milk immediately when the baby gets up or do you make the baby wait and give them breakfast so they get more nutrition for their first meal of the day as compared to milk.

- 2024-04-13I'm just wondering, does sgh allow our husband to be in the same room with us during csection? In my first pregnancy, I had an emergency csection. They didn't allow my husband into the room. Is it because it's an emergency? I've heard other hospitals their husband was together in the delivery room during a csection.
