hi, my baby had jaundice. was discharged and had to go in for phototherapy for a day. started at 270. after discharged from hospital was 170 and had three appointments at poly for follow up & finally discharged at 41. the whole process took about 2.5 weeks.
they say breastmilk helps if not consistent feeding and peeing & pooping a lot helps to clear the bilirubin in baby's body.
my baby also had morning walks about 3-4 times a week (please don't allow direct sunlight, in the shades under the block will do) between 7-8am.
