6 week plus and sleep more than 5 hours throughout the night without feeding is it normal? Should I wake him up for feeding? I realise he was feeding 2-3 hrs in rhe day. 90-120 ml each time. He was 90ml since 3rd week but on the 5th we realise it has no longer satisfied him so after adding 30ml he stopped crying after feeding (90 + 30) and eventually we feed him 120.

Hey there! Congratulations on your little one! It's totally normal for babies to start sleeping longer stretches at night around 6 weeks old. Every baby is different, so some may start sleeping longer earlier than others. If your baby is sleeping more than 5 hours without feeding and seems content during the day, it's likely that they are getting enough to eat. It's great that you're paying attention to your baby's feeding patterns and adjusting as needed. Since your baby is now taking 120ml per feeding and seems satisfied, there's no need to wake them up for a feeding at night. As long as your baby is gaining weight and seems healthy, it's okay to let them sleep for longer stretches. Remember that every baby is unique, so if you have any concerns about your baby's feeding or sleeping habits, it's always best to check in with your pediatrician. Enjoy this precious time with your little one and take care! https://invl.io/cll6she

I think it is okay. We were told not to wake a baby up for a feed as sleep should not be disrupted; but also bcs if a baby is hungry he will wake up. Some babies need more or less milk and some are more regular or less about their milk intake. It is perfectly normal. Our baby grew up fine - not a chubby one but that is okay, we all have our own body type. In addition, some days baby need more food/milk and some they need more sleep.

Hello short answer is yes please wake the baby every two to three hours for regular feeds until the doctor says otherwise. Baby tummy is super tiny so smol feeds frequently. Get ready to sacrifice ur night sleep please for babys sake. This should last the first couple months or so afterwards longer night sleep stretches for parents n baby. Please ok?
