- 2024-03-11Recently I went for a business trip, and when I came back, my sis in law ask my son if he miss me. My mil gave a disgusted look. All along she doesn't want my son to be close to me... but I wonder why can't my son be close to me.. I am the mum. I don't feel my husband know the pain in me... who is so evil to want the child not close to the own mum.... I really have enough of my mil... I can't trust her at all with my son..she wan my son to be closer to her than me... nobody understands the fear and pain in me... since my son is born, she being saying nasty things to me. Sometimes i feel so stress that i feel so despair about my life... my husband is also definitely closer to his family than me. When i was pregant that time... i had bleeding on his niece birthday and he gave me a look like i purposely try not to attend the birthday. After going to hospital for the jab, i still have to go to the birthday celebration of the niece...I feel so alone..

- 2024-03-13Hi! I'm in my first pregnancy and am relatively petite (BMI ~17.7 pre pregnancy). Fetal weight at 25 weeks was 770g which gynae said is normal but when I look at other mummies responses here, it sounds like my baby is a bit on smaller side. 😅
I still eat normal 2-3 meals each day, not much increased appetite. Was wondering if any mummies have tips on foods that can help with increasing fetal weight healthily? Thank you 🤍
- 2024-03-13I'm 39w4d today and delivering by c-sect on Friday, so I decided to try harvesting colostrum today! Ended up with 2ml and might try again tomorrow. I've stored it in the freezer for now but should I also bring it with me to the hospital on Friday? Heard that the lactation consultant/nurses will also be collecting at the hospital so don't know if I should bring or leave at home?

- 2024-03-13Hi Community, just find that I need a place for rant and advise. So I’m staying with my MIL and even when we have our own BTO in 2025 she will still be staying with us as my husband is the only child.
These are some of the details of her that piss me off
- She smokes in the house, although she smokes in the common toilet which I don’t use but the smokes still travel around the house. Yes even when I am pregnant right now there is no change to her habit.
- She has a dog and is a possessive dog owner. If the dog doesn’t eat for just one meal she will just keep coaxing the dog with her way. By her way means it can be so extreme like hand feeding the dog kibbles by kibbles. This will usually take 15-30mins.
- She feeds the dog to drink water with a syringe🤦🏻♀️ Yes, she chase the dog around the house to feed him water.
With the above situation, she still offered to take care of our baby next time when I am back to work. I mean…. with her smoking, it’s enough to say no to it. My baby will be exposed to the nicotine on her clothes and breath.
She can’t even settle a dog and still wanna offer her help to take care of my baby.
Oh god, I’m just wondering if there is any chance or way to prevent her from moving to the new place with us next time😢 My main concern is still her smoking in the house, it’s HER house right now so I have no rights to say anything. But even with my own place next time, I’m sure she is not gonna quit smoking either. Sigh
- 2024-03-13need help. baby comfort feeds to sleep sometimes. I'm afraid it becomes a habit and difficult to wean that off. also scared it will be difficult for IFC teachers. (I try not to use pacifier)
- 2024-03-13My sis in law went out with me & my hubby and said she wanted to bring my 14 month son back for sleepover at her grandma's hse. I felt offended that she didn't even ask for my permission beforehand. She only told us she wanna bring my son with her at the very last min while she was booking her taxi. My husband allowed her to bring but I didn't even had the chance to say yes or no. My husband didn't even ask me if I'm ok with it.
Next day before she sends my son to my house, she went to shave my son's hair without informing me or my husband beforehand. I was really mad at her and she just smiled(as if it was nothing) and said that she wanted to surprise us with it. My hubby & I were actually planning to trim our son's hair in the next few days but my Sis-I-L just decided to shave all of my son's hair. She said that "Aiyo I pity my nephew. Better for him so he not stuffy with long hair". I felt like wow what a shitty reason. My husband was ok with it eventually.
I feel so offended that my hubby n his sis don't even let me make decisions in things relating to my son.
- 2024-03-14It has been a tough breastfeeding journey for me. Due to me having a painful postpartum, I dont have a v good start to breastfeeding. Add on the fact that my family members and even the nanny is not supportive of my breastfeeding - like keep telling me to rest and not let me breastfeed, keep telling me it's okay if I can't breastfeed etc. In the end baby dislikes breastfeeding and so I pump instead and only breastfeed once in the morning when bb is drowsy.
This is the routine every single day until finally two days ago, baby refuses my breast. He screams and cries when offered and so I have to bottle feed him which he happily takes. I tried again a few times in the day and it's the same. Two days in, and baby still screams when he is offered the breast. I think this is it. My breastfeeding is over. It feels like my only bond with baby is over. I am returning to work in 5 days time as well. This is making me so sad.
- 2024-03-14Baby 2 months old only drinking 50 ml per feed at night and sometimes in the day feed- but is still gaining weight is that normal?

- 2024-03-14Yesterday I took my kid (4 yo) to buy groceries. Usually, I don't bring him, but because yesterday there was no one to look after him at home, so I brought them... at the store, he saw chocolates and wanted them. I said softly, not now, sweetie, the dentist said your teeth will get ruined. You're not allowed to eat that too often...
I felt so embarrassed, he immediately started crying and screaming. he even threw a tantrum. I was really embarrassed. I wanted to run away but that's my kid. I stayed quiet and cried until someone helped me saying it's okay... Finally, I took my kid out of the store and didn't go shopping.
Has anyone had a similar experience?

- 2024-03-14My baby weight is currently 3.2 is that considered a big baby? I’m worried I won’t be able to go for natural delivery
- 2024-03-14Hello everyone... Anyone experiencing pressure in vagina that makes it uncomfortable sitting down or walking? I'm only at 16 weeks so thought baby won't be that heavy yet and it should still be fine.. or is it a bigger issue that I have to see a doc for? Thanks in advance!
- 2024-03-14getting this pain since week 32-33, getting progressively worse especially turning in bed and getting out of bed or sitting for too long. any effective way to alleviate the pain?
- 2024-03-14Hi mummies. It's my second pregnancy, 3 years later. This time I'm diagnosed with GDM after failing the OGTT 2hr post. I'm 31 weeks now. Baby weighing 1.8-1.9kg and the doctor said it's slightly larger than average. It's a boy so Dr also said boys tend to be larger in size. She just started me with the Metformin tab.
I'm trying my best to reduce my sugar intake and try to eat more vegetables & fruits. Snacking on healthy bars too.
Tbh, I'm quite worried for this pregnancy. It just feels so much heavier than my first one. I really want to carry this child till hopefully 39-40 weeks coz my first pregnancy, I delivered at 40w1day. But, Dr said it might not be possible since I have GDM, might need to deliver earlier 37-39 weeks.
Any mummies here with GDM, have any advice on how to get it under control and eventually able to carry till 39-40 weeks.? #adviceplease #gdm #pregnancy
- 2024-03-14Hi mommies, I am a first time mom . I need all your input to decide which stroller to get 🙃 any recommendations or anyone using keenz can share your experience ?
- 2024-03-14hi mommies im currently 17 years old and my baby is 15 weeks. I don’t know where to start from but I’ve been feeling so lonely I’ve been feeling so suicidal. I dropped out of school then I found out I’m pregnant. At first I didn’t think much about it, but now reality is really just slapping my face. my partner wasn’t happy about the child and the way he treated me made me feel like shit and the only thing I can do is secretly cry in the toilet so he wouldn’t know. I thought walking away from him and just be friends just co parent would be better for my mental health. But now I really don’t know I feel so alone everyday I just work part time come back home shower and cry myself to sleep. Some days it get so bad I’ll just breakdown during my shift. eventually I thought it’ll get better but I don’t know how to continue from here. My heart hurts, it really does. And I don’t know how to seek help. I don’t have anyone by my side I don’t know who to talk to. Everyday I could only blame myself for being so stupid. I grew up in a broken home & my dad was never present now my child is gonna have a dad who’s never present and I could only blame myself daily. I’m so done with life. All I want to do is smoke a stick of cig and reallt just numb myself. I hate how my life is and everyday I’m just feeling so guilty for the baby. it was so obvious we stayed tgt because of the child not because he loves me. He could only ask for sex and I would say yes all the time because I’m afraid he’ll abandon me and my child. he can’t even remember my birthday. I don’t know how are we gonna take care of a child together #adviceplease #newmom
- 2024-03-14Hello mummies!
Would like to hear advice from any of you whom babies are used to sleeping in a sleep sack since newborn, on how you transition them out of it when they start to flip in their sleep? How do you transition and how do your babies respond?
My baby seems to be having difficulty sleeping with her hands out, will keep flipping and doing tummy time or play with her pacifier 😅

- 2024-03-15Hi, this is the first experience. Just to share alil bit abt myself, im 33 tis yr (muslim), regular periods.Birthed 4 healthy children, Alhamdulillah.. (this is my 5th pregnancy), found out i was pregnant on 180224 with my 5th child. My 1st date of last menstrual period was 090124.
Went to the hospital on 290224 for doc check up, vaginal and tummy scan, saw the sag and baby. But no heartbeat yet. So was told to come back 2weeks later for another scan, which was today 130324.
Today doc told me my sag is growing eventho it was alil abnormally shaped (not round as normal, it was kinda curvy) but there was no baby to be found!. Showed doc my previous scan pic. Doc said, its definitely a baby on that scan. But today, no baby.. doc said i miscarried. But there was no bleeding, spotting or abnormal cramps etc all these while. Doc advised to come back in two weeks time for another, last scan to confirm if miscarried or if suddenly baby "appear". Doc say maybe "baby hiding". 😓
I feel lost and worried. I was told to be mentally prepared. Any mommies care to share your experiences or any advices for me?
I appreciate all of it very much. Thank you.. ❤️

- 2024-03-16This is a strong set to teach the kids programming. It has a very easy learning curve, but allows you to make it as complex as you want in the end. The flexibility is awesome, enough motors and sensors to make anything you want.
- 2024-03-16Coding is important to learn because computer programming teaches children to experiment and gives them the confidence to be creative. They will have the chance to design something that is entirely their own. Children thrive off of the feedback they get from creating something they love.

- 2024-03-16Hello. Im at W32 now.. I have been experiencing severe itch but only at night. Usually it last 1-2 hours and may spread to legs and arms. Does any other mum experience this too?
I applied a lot of oil to moisturise the bump. Bio oil, clarins, mama’s choice stretch mark serum and cream… but it is still super itchy! Been experiencing this since W28 or so.

- 2024-03-16broke off with my ex very recently and I’ve been crying every single day. He claims to want the child but he isn’t doing anything about it. He doesn’t want to take care of me or do anything related to me & my baby. is it selfish of me to move on & find someone who can love me and my child
