- 2024-04-01Hello. If anyone know that single parent (divorced) first timer can apply for BTO 4 or 5 room flat? I saw single unwed parents aged 21 and above can apply only up to 3 room flat, but not sure if it’s same for divorced parent?

- 2024-04-01Remember when I first felt those little kicks? Man, that was the best feeling ever. Every day felt like a party, celebrating this tiny life growing inside me. But, underneath all that excitement, there was this stress monster lurking. Work, life, everything – it was all just too much sometimes.
I tried my best to shield my baby from all the stress, but it's like it seeped right through to them. And then, bam, it happened – I miscarried.
The pain, both in my heart and my body, is just unbearable. I keep asking myself if I could've done something differently, protected my baby better. Maybe if I'd found a way to chill out more, we wouldn't be in this mess....
- 2024-04-01Is it ok to jump during pregnant?
I avoided a strange animal yesterday and my first instinct was to avoid it --- i JUMPED. Now, you might be thinking, "What's the big deal?" Well, let me tell you, when you're preggo, every sudden movement feels like a potential disaster waiting to happen.
So, there I am, mid-air, heart pounding, and all I can think about is whether I've just given my little bun in the oven the fright of their life. I mean, can you blame me? One minute, we're chilling, and the next, we're airborne – talk about a plot twist!
Of course, as soon as my feet hit the ground again, the worry sets in. Did I just traumatize my baby for life? Should I call my doctor?
- 2024-04-01Hi Moms, I am a Singaporean living abroad and will be visiting Singapore next month. I will be 33 weeks pregnant by the time I fly back home and the airline requires a safe to fly letter from a gynae. Can i get it from polyclinics or i need to go KKH? Private gynae last choice for me as im sure it cost alot just to have a day of check to get the letter.
- 2024-04-01I often eat what I thought were healthy snacks – papayas and pineapples, you know, the usual suspects.
But here's the plot twist – it just hit me like a ton of bricks that these fruits are apparently a big no-no during pregnancy. Yeah, I know, rookie mistake, right? I mean, I looooove those fruits but now i can't stop thinking about my baby 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
- 2024-04-01i am 19 weeks this week and i have been experience tiny cramps below my stomach and it is random. sometimes it could be sharp pain. also, i may or may not have felt the baby kick. are these normal? it is my second baby but it honestly feel like i am a first time mom all over again.
- 2024-04-01Ever since week 5, (I’m currently at week 8) I’ve had some brownish discharge here and there while wiping. Anyone else encountered this? Not sure why it’s happening but i can’t help being worried.
- 2024-04-02Hi. I am in my 1st trimester and this is my first child after 2 years of trying. Wanted to ask someone for experience, Is it normal if you have a cramping, numbing effect on either of your legs? And pain on your pelvis?
- 2024-04-02I might be the dumbest mom out there, or maybe just the most clueless... Ever since my little one was born, I've always chosen to sleep together in one bed. At first, yeah, I tried to get my baby to sleep in their crib. But man, I was so exhausted because every time they woke up at night, I had to fetch them for breastfeeding. I nearly tripped or slipped a few times because I was so tired and barely slept while carrying my baby. Since then, we've always slept together. Even though a lot of people warned me about the dangers, I didn't listen. I was just trying to prioritize my own health too. Sleeping with the baby is so convenient – if they cry, I just pop them onto my boob for a feed.
Then that day finally came... Turns out, I fell asleep and my baby ended up covered by my boob 😭 If my husband hadn't woken up, my baby might not have made it. But luckily, he did wake up and shook me awake in a panic. I bawled my eyes out thinking about the worst-case scenario. Sorry, sweetheart, mama messed up, mama was careless, mama was tired, mama was selfish thinking about her own health.
Has anyone else gone through something like this? Or got any tips about it?
- 2024-04-02Mom, my 5-month-old just fell from the bed:( After I picked him up and cuddled him, he calmed down and went straight to sleep, no injuries or anything, but I'm freaking out. Not long after that, he got a bit of a fever. I want to take him to the doctor, but my mom says it's unnecessary, he's just shocked from the fall. It's been days already but I'm still worried... he's a bit fussier than usual but still eats. Has anyone else been through this? Is he gonna be okay? Please help me out and don't judge or scare me with your replies. Thank you thank you thank you
- 2024-04-02Recently I found out my husband watches porn. I don't know how to feel about it. Is that considered cheating?
Finally, because I couldn't calm down, I asked my husband about it, and he said... I don't have the right to be angry because all guys do it... I just want to get an outsider's opinion on how to keep it from ruining the whole relationship?
- 2024-04-02Hi, both myself and my wife are planning a year end holiday with our kids 4 and 1.5 years old. We hear from some people that it will be wise to go with tour package as everything is planned for you. But at the same time we also hear from another group of people that should not go with tour package but go free and easy as tour package has many restrictions like early morning call and stuff like that. So I would like to get some advise which way is a better choice for a holiday with young kids.
- 2024-04-02Tested positive but been having some cramps similar to menstrual cramps but no blood. Is it normal?

- 2024-04-02Hi, have been doing direct latching until now LO 5mths old going IFC... so gotta pump EBM for LO to bring to sch to drink during the day. It seems like LO is rejecting BM in bottle at IFC (teacher said change of clothes due to drool but the bib smells of milk. Tried feeding him a bottle myself and saw him resisting it and got spit out milk onto bib.) There are occasions that he keeps on latching on off and crying, but after he rejected the bottle he was fine doing direct latching...
Unlikely to be nipple confusion as we do feed him FM once every night before his bedtime. Could it be that the EBM is too watery or any possible reason he doesn't want BM from bottle?
Any sugg how to make milk thicker too? Thanks!

- 2024-04-0228 weeks scan baby turn head down. Now(30 weeks) baby buttock is down. I am super stress. My husband is not helping at all. I talked to baby, I ask him to talk to baby too but I got pushed away instead. He was scolding me telling me why must i be stressful.
This thing make me super stress and I have been super cranky with everyone including my toddler. I feel guilty. I do love her tho.
But i feel like, people around me dont understand what i feel.
I want to go for a normal birth so that i can have a peaceful recovery looking at my husband is not a hands on person.
I do most of the things eg wake up at night, cooking, clean, bath my toddler.
I dont know, I dont know what I am feeling.

I don't want to do it too early until the pregnancy is stable which i think is 12 weeks? But if the bump shows obviously I may need to consider telling them earlier.

- 2024-04-03Responsive website design has become a crucial component of modern web development, and investing in it is essential for businesses. Responsive design ensures that websites adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices, providing users with an optimal viewing experience regardless of the device they’re using. Here are several reasons why responsive website design is a must and worth investing in:
1.Enhanced User Experience: With the proliferation of smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices, users expect websites to be accessible and easy to navigate on any screen size. Responsive design ensures that websites load quickly, display properly, and remain functional across various devices, leading to improved user satisfaction and engagement.
2.Improved SEO Performance: Search engines like Google prioritize mobile-friendly websites in search results, making responsive design essential for improving search engine rankings. By providing a consistent user experience across devices, responsive websites are more likely to rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs), driving more organic traffic to your site.
3.Cost-Efficiency: While investing in responsive web design may require an upfront investment, it ultimately saves businesses money in the long run. Rather tha maintaining separate desktop and mobile versions of a website, responsive design streamlines the development process and reduces ongoing maintenance costs.
4.Future-Proofing: As new devices and screen sizes continue to emerge, responsive design ensures that websites remain adaptable and future-proof. By embracing responsive design principles, businesses can stay ahead of technological advancements and ensure that their websites remain relevant and functional for years to come.
5.Increased Conversion Rates: Responsive websites are optimized for usability and accessibility across devices, leading to higher conversion rates and improved business outcomes. Whether users are browsing on a desktop, smartphone, or tablet, responsive design ensures a seamless user experience, making it easier for visitors to engage with your content and take desired actions.
In conclusion, responsive website design is not only a must but also a worthwhile investment for businesses of all sizes. By prioritizing responsive design, businesses can enhance user experience, improve SEO performance, reduce costs, future-proof their websites, and increase conversion rates, ultimately driving growth and success in an increasingly mobile-centric world. For businesses seeking to create a responsive website, partnering with a skilled web designer Singapore is essential to ensure a seamless and effective design implementation.

- 2024-04-03Hi mummies, my boy already 2 years plus always very scared of sitting on potty. Any tips to help him overcome so he dare to sit & poop?
- 2024-04-03Currently still in 1st trimester. I went to most of the appointments by myself as I did not want my husband to worry and in fact didn't tell him when I go for some of the follow ups. Recently he was angry when he found out that I went to the appt by myself and didn't inform him (actually he won't go as well but just wanted to know). But he doesn't know that each visit is stressful for me as idk if baby is doing well or if there's anything. I didn't want to stress him out too and rather be independent.

- 2024-04-03It's the 4th day I'm feeling very weak and sick but I can't take anymore sick leave becos I had used up all. I don't want to take annual leave as it is just the beginning of my second trimester and long way to go. So I wanna save my leave for medical appts.
Should I go to A&E? Will they give me HL instead? I'm really really very sick
- 2024-04-03My Lo is 18 months old. She sucks her 2 fingers all the time. Because of that she is reluctant to walk or do any activity and even sometime if she stands with support, she uses only one hand as other hand is engaged in sucking the fingers. She is less active because of that. Is there any one who had same problem? How to stop this habit?

- 2024-04-04Has anyone given the following supplements for their 1 year old?
Sambucol drops (for immunity)
Biogaia probiotics (for gut health)
DHA drops by Nordic Naturals (for brain development)
I’m thinking to start the following supplements when my baby turns 1 year old. The first 2 is in preparation for building immunity for school when baby goes in at 18 months. DHA I heard some good things.
Is it ok to start all 3 supplements?
Please share your thoughts or other recommendations.

- 2024-04-05Hey mamas, I have recently delivered 2 weeks ago and the body odour from the pits is horrendous. Is there any deodorant or solution to recommend
- 2024-04-05Hi, anyone had any luck to get HL before delivery under KKH subsidised?
- 2024-04-05Just wanna pour out .. I know I will have no solution for this.. My husband was nice enough to accommodate my mum after my dad’s passing in year 2022. Unfortunately, my mum was diagnosed with terminal illness few months after and she had left us early this year. I was very appreciative to my husband for the fact that he initiated to ask my mum to stay with us.
Now, his mum who is of different nationality is staying with us .. on and off as she can’t stay long as a foreigner. This time round is the longest she ever stayed .. 3mths .. I feel bad that I can’t click with her .. I feel suffocated with her presence .. especially now when I am on HL to prepare for delivery of my No.2 . She has different living habits .. the way and the language she speaks is different … although she can speak mandarin, most of the time when my husband is at home .. they will be speaking in their own language. I can hear my name in their conversation but I don’t know what they are talking about and it’s weird to ask.. and I will just quietly have my meal or do my things.
Sometimes I feel like I have no control over my own place.
My husband told me she will be coming back about 3mths later .. I asked him how long will she be here .. and he got offended .. sensing that I don’t welcome his mum .. actually all I want is just to be mentally prepared of what I will be dealing with.
Then today, my MIL told me she will want to bring along another relative to stay with us in 2 mths time and I dare not ask her how long they will be staying .. She mentioned the relative needs a break and will like to follow her to Singapore for a breather and she thought it will be a good idea as we will be busy moving at that time .. she can be a helping hand.
But deep inside me, packing and arranging things is a very personally thing.. I don’t like ppl whom I’m not close with to meddle with my things .. more so at that point .. i can foresee a lot of people giving feedback on how to take care of my 3mths old No.2 .
I starting to hate being at home now .. I am due for delivery at anytime but I prefer to just roam around outside .. I feel better alone .. and realised I feel better when I dun need to face anyone now .. including my husband. I don’t want my thoughts to affect my relationship. Thank god I still have my No. 1 for distraction.

- 2024-04-05Hi all, when do you start to feel morning sickness? Should I be worried because I've not felt morning sickness.
Also, is it normal that my threshold towards cold temperature isnt as good as before? I love to be in the cold, but now I can't really stand to be in the cold for so long.
- 2024-04-05I went for my first scan with NUH on 21st March. Found out that i was only 6 weeks along, so Dr couldn’t give an estimated EDD or advise much because of how early I was.
The next appointment booked in by NUH will be on 3rd May, more than 6 weeks apart.
Is this normal? Also, it’s been 2 weeks-ish since the appointment and I’m trying to stay sane and afloat but I’m just very worried about the baby (no bleeding or spotting) and wondering if everything is going well?
I don’t have much symptoms other than occasional nausea and headache.
Idk if it’s because pregnancy hormones are going wild but does anyone else also feel that the break between each scan is too long? Esp when you are in 1st trimester? Any tips to cope and to feel ok?

- 2024-04-05Any mom experiencing Eczema flare? I ate anti histamine and applied steroid cream but it doesn't stop the itch. Any solutions?
- 2024-04-05#advicepleace
Hi everyone,
Im abit concerned… have had a history of 1 miscarriage last year and we tried again and I tested positive few weeks back. LMP 16 Feb, so we went to poly to get referral. Poly referred us to KKH early , on 28th March , at my 6 weeks point.
From there it was back and forth
28th March - couldn’t find gestational sac at all, HCG 7200
30th March - couldn’t find gestational sac, even did format ultrasound same results - HCG 8600 (only 17% rise)
1 April - could find gestational sac but no yolk or fetal pole. Docs didn’t even want to confirm that it’s a a gestational sac. HCG 12600 (46% rise)
Don’t know what to think… my HCG doesn’t seem to be rising properly. ectopic ruled out. I’ve got cramps but no bleeding. Just so confused. Any one has experienced something similar to this? Worried sick :(

- 2024-04-06I’m approaching my week 13 of pregnancy and I’m cramping for hours which have not subsided. My past cramps were always mild and does not last a few hours. Is this normal? Does anyone else experience pain that last for hours and days? No bleeding.
- 2024-04-06Hi mummies. My baby is 12 days old. I realise today that he has been waking up every 1.
5-2 hours for his feeds. Each feed he is drinking around 60ml. In the beginning, his feeds were every 3 hours. May I know if he is cluster feeding?
I also want to check if I should bath baby everyday? So far we only bathe him twice. And whether to clean baby's tongue w a wet cloth??
Lastly just to share, my baby was bottle fed in the hospital. Because of this, he doesn't want to latch on me. Can anyone share any useful advice on how to reverse this? I wished he tried latching... He always gets impatient and push my breast away
