Holiday with kids

Hi, both myself and my wife are planning a year end holiday with our kids 4 and 1.5 years old. We hear from some people that it will be wise to go with tour package as everything is planned for you. But at the same time we also hear from another group of people that should not go with tour package but go free and easy as tour package has many restrictions like early morning call and stuff like that. So I would like to get some advise which way is a better choice for a holiday with young kids.

Definitely free and easy for me. Younger kids tends to tire out more easily due to the curiousity of new environments and so many things to see and play so they might sleep more in the morning. If you follow tours, they usually gather quite early and if you miss the bus in the morning, it’s as good as free and easy for the rest of the day or till they reach hotel for dinner etc. Not to forget, tours although covers more places, it’s very rush and tiring, especially with young kids.

I'd advice to go free and easy. tours have strict timings that may not flow well with your kids and you'd feel very stressed if everyone in the tour group has to wait for you etc. please go free and easy and have fun planning out your trip instead of having to worry about everyone's timing!

free & easy. i’ve been travelling since my girl is 2 mths old n now she’s 18 mths old. I just follow her cues like nap time, diaper time, snack time. If tours time is restricted & cannot cater to ur child needs
