Mummies out there! My baby is currently 3m+ and last night he suddenly coughed. Any remedy to help??

at this age, the only meds that babies can take is paracetamol, and a nose drop if got runny nose. No med will be given for coughs coz coughing is a defense mechanism for babies, in case they choke, so taking cough meds at such a young age is very dangerous as it suppresses the cough reflex. U may try the following - sleeping in non air con room - if got air con, don't put too cold. 26 or 27 degrees, assuming your baby isn't swaddled , is sufficient - use humidifier if using air con - vicks has a vapour rub for babies. Vick baby balsam. can apply on the chest to sooth. Guardian has it. hope he recovers quickly.
