- 2017-07-31Dear parents , What type of bag did you used for infant child care ?
- 2017-07-31My 2 years plus daughter started preschool when she was 18 months. She settled well in school until recently she started to resist school and cried a loud before sending her in. The teachers said she will stop crying when the lessons started and she enjoyed the lessons and participated actively. It seems like the issue is with the separation in the morning. Anyone has such issue with that?

- 2017-07-31Jus had a quarrel with my hubby..
I'm a SAHM . I have Two kids. Every day after my hubby's work , I desire that he spend a bit of time to bond with our kids. Jus 30 mins is good cos I understand that he is tired after work so I try to be reasonable .
Jus now we started to have some disagreement over something n he begins to say things like give him a break after work , he is tired n can't help out so much with the kids.. etc.. he Meant to say that I'm a SAHM , I should do everything , why involve him n ask him to help with this n that. Though I'm a SAHM but my role is not easy too n i feel tired too after one whole day of looking after kids, cooking , housework etc. I don't laze around , I work hard the whole day too.
Then he told me if it is so hard for me to be a SAHM , then I should jus quit being a SAHM n go out to work . At least I can bring home income.. I feel so upset .. am I really v demanding ? Sob.
- 2017-08-01I'm a stay at home Mom (SAHM). Wanna ask all husbands here .. what is your expectations of your Wife if she is a SAHM n both of u have two kids. Do u expect her to take on all housework , cook all meals ? When u come home from work that she ought to continue to do all the work including settling the kids to bed , supervise older child of his work .. ? Then when u wanna be intimate with her n she was still busy settling housework that u grumble u have the lowest priority in her heart ? I wanna hear from the point of view of husbands

- 2017-08-01Hi mummies, what are the insurances that you have bought for your little one?
- 2017-08-01Today is the first time in last 2 years i have looked at my husband's history on his phone. Why did i? He started with his friend again and who is a terrible influence. So I looked at the history and i saw "HOW TO FIND A GIRLFRIEND WHILE MARRIED". What do i do? I took a screenshot and saved it to my phone. I just feel sick to my stomach. I shouldn't have looked. This is controversial for me. Thanks.

- 2017-08-01I am trying to conceive no 2 but to no avail after 2 years. I should see a gynae or a fertility doctor? Any advice? TIA.
- 2017-08-01I have a prolapsed disc, and cannot carry any weight more than 5kg. My LO is now 9 months and 8kg. I have not carried her for almost 2 months, but have tried to engage her by playing with her on the bed or in her high chair, or carrying her while sitting down. She doesn't last long though (less than 2 mins) as she wants to be carried n walked around to see things. I also have not been rocking her to sleep as my back cannot take it. She now prefers my husband over me as she is beginning to recognize people and is more aware of things, and it may get worse as time goes on as she's not going to get lighter. I may not have the chance anymore to carry her or put her to sleep, or pick her up to comfort her when she's crying. I'm afraid of her feeling distant from me and not being as close, as babies really need that constant physical touch and comfort, and it seems that I'm always not there for her. Are there any other mothers out there facing the same problem as me? How do you deal with this?:(

- 2017-08-01Does your Husband wait for u to go to bed together at night during bedtime ? Or he will just go to sleep first on his own ? My hubby likes me to sleep together at the same time , so he will usually wait for me but there are nights I need to rush some work n he feels disappointed if I don't turn in together with him during bedtime.

- 2017-08-02My new Filipino helper (2 weeks) is a hardworking and pleasant lady who takes rather good care of my children. She's shown good attitude but the nagging issue is actually her lovesick husband who always calls her and gets upset when she doesn't return call (cos she was busy w work). She's spent quite a bit of her first pay on phone bills already. I even agreed to let her use skype to video back home.
I only hope she can slowly get over her homesickness but I'm not sure... will she suddenly say she has to go home? I hope not.
How do you help/cope with a new helper who is homesick?
- 2017-08-02I have received complains about my 2 y.o. boy quite often about his disruptive behaviour in school - during nap time (using his toes to fidget with things), walking ard during lessons, disobeying Teachers (ask him to do 1, he will do 2 instead), etc. The Teachers feedback that they tried to talk to him using soft approach (via my suggestion) and sometimes they will isolate him from his classmates. Interestingly, he has a good review from a teacher about his learning abilities but now the teacher is no longer teaching him. I have tried repeating to him almost daily about respecting, listening and being kind to his Teachers and friends. Giving him daily hugs and reminding him to be a good boy at sch. In general, he's really sweet and well mannered boy, just very very active/playful and not one to conform to the norm like sitting still and listen. I'm not looking to turn him into a obedient robot but I understand certain rules have to be followed in a sch setting. I wish I knew what I can do differently to help my boy. I am thinking of changing school as I feel the current sch is unable to handle my active boy.
Does anyone have similar experience and can recommend a school that can help to nurture my active boy? Any suggestions for tweaking this behaviour? TIA!

- 2017-08-04I'm always short of that courage to just bring baby and leave. My Husband is abusive and very small issues will trigger him. He has been drinking and not taking care of the family. Recently got worse and he don't even come home after drinking.
I want to separate but I don't have a place to go. No family to help me.
Is it possible to rent a room from someone who is okay with a child?
Anyone with similar experience can share? I'm quite lost now.

- 2017-08-04My child in playgroup 18months now. her sch routine only 1 milk feeding before nap. Even if i prep another feed of milk for evening before we fetch her, teacher say they dont feed milk in evening. Is it a norm for such practice?
I see breakfast states with milk but if my child refuse to drink, then she really end up w 1 milk feed in sch. Morning at home, she will drink some milk before go sch as we will reach earlier than breakfast time. Gotta reach early due to time needed to travel to work.
Just to understand, can sch dont give the milk even if we prep another feed?

- 2017-08-05Every now and then I will feel super upset and depressed about my life. There isn't any big issue really, I don't even know if I'm kicking up a big fuss and being oversensitive.
I'm thinking of going to see a counsellor but I'm afraid she will find my issues too trivial, and end up wasting everyone's time.
Anyone have seen one before? How is it like?
