My fil went to buy vibrating toothbrush, toothpaste, normal toothbrush for my 1yr old boys to use. However, i dun like the idea of using vibrating toothbrush and toothpaste as they are still young and the gum are very tender... Went polyclinic check up and nurses there advice us to buy those finger toothbrush for baby, no need toothpaste, just use clean water. Any advice for my 1yr old boys? which brand of finger toothbrush to recommend? Can share tips on how to use also? thks.. ?

I like the kodomo slim toothbrush for 0.5-2 years old. Very soft and slim bristles that are gentle on the teeth. For 1yo, I think that’s better than finger brushes because baby will bite down on whatever you insert into the mouth. You can either use fluoride free toothpastes or those with very small amounts of fluoride. I also used kodomo toothpaste (size of rice grain) when my LO was at that age.

I use electric toothbrush for my girl since 1yo, cause I feel is cleaner. In fact, when I bring my girl to dentist, the dentist mention that the electric toothbrush sound id similar to their equipment sound, hence my girl had no issue going to the dentist and happily sit through the checks
