Always gives illogical advices and insist to follow her way. Have to ask husband to be mediator to explain the reason why certain things have to be done this way. Informed her that we signed up for antenatal class only to be compared back to 'her days' where she could bathe babies and change infant diapers without anyone teaching her right after she gave birth. Oh Wells.
My first impression of my mil is that she looks fierce and not approachable but after sometime as i get to know her better, im really greatful to have her as my mil cause she has helped me alot esp when i gave birth to my kids. So blessed to have a awesome mil! 😊
Neutral before baby because i could keep my distance. After baby born, i became less tolerant of nonsense and bullshit + more of her behavourial & attitude problems surfaced so I cant wait to move out!
Dotes me very much.. but just that she wants her way of doing things 😝 cant stand her at times. But I just keep quiet 🤐
OK ok. Sometimes have language barrier and different culture with her but as we are not staying tgt, thing is not that bad.
For a start it’s always awkward but as time passes it will be fine just keep a safe distance to avoid misunderstanding .
MIL dotes on me but can be naggy at times, want things done her own way. Not easy. Need to give & take ~
Love hate relationship. Only communicate when necessary but will drop by each other house for visits
my mil is nice but still i believe in the saying 相见容易,同住难。
Good enough. There will always be issues. But better to resolve and meet half way
