Is it true that baby doesn't latch after bottle feed?

Hi mummies. Husband sort of strongly insist that I must always latch my baby in future (Edd Jan 2020 & I know its still early). Being a first time mum, I was trying to explain to him that I need my rest too during confinement & I suggest that I can pump out so that he or family can help with bottle feed. However husband heard from his friends that baby doesn't like to latch/refused nipple after bottle feed, is it true?

Not true. I did both from Day 1. One bottle feed by husband every night.

It was too painful for me at the start.. (my pain tolerance is really Low) so I couldn’t latch.. tried to latch at 1.5 or 2 months but baby doesn’t seem to be receiving milk well. If you can then latch from the start, it will be way more convenient after the future few months - don’t have to bring milk bottle, hot water, expressed milk out. But if too tired then don’t force yourself!

Hey, It completely depends and varies. I suggest you can start with the bottle and then see how the baby responds
