Do u buy things or gifts for your mil? If yes, what do u normally buy?
Yes, during ocassions like her birthday (got her a pair of earrings before), and necessity when she needs to travel abroad (winter clothes, luggage, bag).
Usually only on occasions like birthdays or CNY , etc. My hub will give her angpao as she is a simple woman and her security is $.
She likes unique rings not necessarily made from previous stone so I always try to find unique designs for her
Food, ang pow, flowers, clothes. I get my LO to present them to her. That doubles the happiness for her. Haha
I don’t buy gifts for my mil but give her Ang bao during festive seasons and on her birthday
Staying with my MIL so will buy food that she likes to eat occasionally
Yah, usually things that she can either use for a long time or eat 😊
I bring her to dine instead. Otherwise it will be red packet
