Washing baby clothes

Do yall wash newborn clothes in washing machine or hand wash them? I just got a new helper and my MIL trains her. She said all baby clothes have to be hand washed. I’m rather upset all my newborn clothing don’t smell anything nice. No smell of the bzubzu baby detergent I bought.. I’m not sure if this is normal..

I washed my newborn clothes in a washing machine with baby detergent. Separately from adult clothes. My mother also hand washed my baby clothes when my baby goes over to her place sometimes. It’s just an elderly thing that they prefer clothes to be hand washed.

I use washing machine. I agree that it’s an elderly thing to hand wash. But I rather have my helper to do other stuff than hand wash cos it’s very time consuming

Washing machine with baby detergent, separate from adult clothes. Ain't no time for handwashing when infants go through so many clothes so quickly haha.
