Nope, I showered once I got home from hospital. I would've showered earlier if not for the pain from my csect wound. I did shower with herbs and drink soups meant for confinement though but that's about it.

For my #1, I follow confinement rules for a while and got so depressed that I stopped totally after a week but my eczema was so bad that I was suffering.. For #2, I ditch all rules..I was much happier..

I didn't follow any of it though my mum was nagging quite a bit. I showed daily (with chinese herbs) and washed my hair once every 3 days. I also slept in air-con room daily but without the fan.

Not for me. For me, to recover properly, I needed to take care of myself, and that included taking warm baths, drinking enough water, etc. But I didn’t use air con, because I don’t normally use it.

I believe there are a lot of recent scientific proof that confinement rules are not necessarily the bible that new mums need to follow. Do your own research and you will know what is best.

Nope. I bathed once a day and washed my hair every 3 days. But I will make sure I will dry my hair and not catch a chill. Switched on aircon everyday but it’s not blowing directly at me.

Not at all! Totally my own style of confinement. I need to make sure I'm clean if not the dirty bacteria might goes to my newborn. Food wise, I'm had mini steamboat at home for a month.

It's depends on you, I on Aircon 24hours , I think the more important is u feel comfortable , I eat a lot of ginger n each meal must serve hot so I can't endure if didn't on Aircon

I would not want to be a walking germinator, especially if i intend to breastfeed. Our humid weather is really logically speaking unable to allow us not to shower or wash our hair.
