seat for pregnant women

Hi mummies. How do u approach strangers for a seats in trains and buses? Do you tap them if they're asleep? Most have headphones on or sleep. How about those with eyes glued on their phones. SG isn't really a friendly place by default. Is there a nice way I can try next time?

When I was in my 3rd tri. I was soooooo tired after work. I just approach people at priority seat (man or young) and asked directly if I could have the seat. Mostly works.

I won’t ask for seat unless I’m feeling uncomfortable else I will just wait for them to offer their seats which most of them won’t 😂

If they are asleep I usually do not tap them but if they are glued to their phones I would ask them nicely(:

stand infront of them showing your tummy surprisingly and sadly thats what singaporean needs nowadays

Sadly they don’t. Even with my 8month bump they would just ignore or pretend to not see it

Can ask them to give up the seat for you, especially when they are seating on priority seat

I don’t usually ask for a seat unless i really need it i.e. feeling unwell

I was pretty lucky, gotten the seat most of the time i need it

Super Mum

Usually does not happen... either sleeping or ignore 🤭

I'll just stand in front of them.
