Legally, no, but most advisable to prepare one as you’re risking your baby’s life as it’s proven to be not safe for babies to be carried in arms. Not sure if insurance coverage is available if anything happens and you carry baby in arms instead of using baby seat. So it’s a gamble you’re taking.

No need car seat to travel in taxi but if accident occurs, then it’s regrets for life. Quote: “In Singapore, three times as many babies died in car accidents in 2014 in comparison to the US.*” Refer to this: https://www.sassymamasg.com/car-safety-in-singapore-taxis-laws-car-seats-boosters/

In Taxis it’s not required but for grab / Gojek you need to choose the grab family option in order to take your baby. This won’t be necessary for new borns.

By law, in a traditional taxi-no, in a private hire car-yes. But always good to have a car seat if possible.

If you mean required by law then no. But for baby's safety it's highly recommended to always use a car seat!

Taxi is not mandatory but advisable. Grab or other private hire is definitely a must.
