Hepa B Vaccine

Hi mommies! I have a question for everyone... Is it really mandatory/compulsory for a newborn baby to receive Hepa B Vaccine on the first 24 hours after birth? I am not anti-vax person, it's just that I don't trust and feel good about it. I read a lot of articles and did quite a bit research in regards to Hepa B vaccine, I've read that that first dose can be injected later after few weeks from birth. Does anyone have tried refusing hepa b vax in the hospital? Do I have an option to refuse it and do it later with a pedia? Do I have to sign a paper and would it be valid? I am on my 38th week day 1. I'm almost there! Please, I need some inputs from you mommies! ? Thank you.
