Last year, i have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder. Since the first month of pregnancy, i have quitted my job due to the worst morning sickness. As time goes by, i feel much more hopeless, and a burden to everyone around me. My pyschiatrist mentioned that i have somehow developed the symptoms of depression. I feel like losing myself, and am not looking forward to anything, everyday. I am very much worried on my life after giving birth. How do i adapt with a new life? How do i control my mental and emotion? I just cant figure out anything.

It's good you are seeing a psychiatrist for help with your issues. In this day and age we are always having to start new lives and reinvent ourselves. It's good if we learn ways of relaxation that suit us, such as deep breathing, progressive muscular relaxation and imagery. Don't be alone, join soon-to-be mummy communities so that we can share and learn from each other such as TheAsianParent. Equip ourselves with parenting knowledge such as from this app. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and slowly our new self will emerge. MIASA also provides good mental health tips.
