depends on yourself and situation. luckily I did cause I went through a 16 hours labour. Still have to top-up mid way. Else I won't have the strength to push a 3.5kg baby out.

it depends on your pain tolerance! i personally took epi and I'm 3months pp only n having very bad back aches, i believe from it. so 2nd bb maybe I'll opt-out of epi

Is really up to you and how much u can stand pain. If really cannot stand pain, take epidural. Cos you stress, u can stress yr baby too

Epidural for me! I want my birth experience to be as pleasant as possible and no pain if possible so I can happily look forward to it with zero anxiety :)

Heard that opting for epidural will have some side effects.. but it rather seems like a need to have, unless the pain endurance threshold is very high..

Its down personal choice whether to use epidural if you are able to give birth naturally. I had c section so it was certainly not a choice then. Heh.

Yes, I chose to take epidural once I am at 2cm when I reached hospital, and I think I made the right choice as I’m enjoying my delivery process.

its really up to you you can actually let gynae know to stand by and action only when u couldnt take it i had a natural labour without epidural.

epidural helps alot if you can no longer take the pain. had my first baby and took epidural. save my energy for pushing. 😃
