Hi Dr., WFH is very tense as need to take care toddler and a baby. Sometimes they need attention but work need to rush and caused mama goes wild. Mama will sometimes shout at children as manager urge and rush for document but there is no one to help taking care of them. After shouting there mama feels very guilty. How can mama tackle this?

Hi, it certainly sounds very tough having to juggle with the needs of your young children as well as your work. Do you think you can speak to your manager with regards to the difficulties WFH, especially with young children? Would it be possible for you to take turns with your husband or have an extended family member come over? Sometimes there is no ideal way and you may well lose your cool every now and then - spending time with your children later at night and talking to them about what has happen and why may help. If you find yourself getting increasingly irritable and more difficult to control your emotions or sleep difficulties (which may be signs of stress-related disorders), you may need to see a mental health professional for assessment.
