Nap times at infant care
Hi parents with kids in infant care! What are your kids’ naps like at infant care? My 7month old needs to nap every 2 hours or so, 3 naps a day, but I noticed that a typical schedule only has one afternoon nap each day between 7-7. I’m considering enrolling him at an infant care, but I’m very protective of his naps (he has major meltdowns if he misses his naps). Can your babies/toddlers really only nap once a day?
Curious
Hi mummies. My one month old baby snores sometimes. Isit normal? Or does that means he has phlegm?
Mummies how do you brush your lo teeth ? Below 2 years old
Diarrhoea
My 7 month old baby has diarrhoea for close to 3 weeks. Doctor ruled out infection as my baby still can play and smile. Initially we thought he might be teething, but since it has lasted more than 1 week, it might be other issues. We have stopped all solid food as we are testing if solid food might be the cause. But baby is still diarrhoeaing. If anyone has experienced the same or if you think what might be the possible causes, I would appreciate any comments. Thanks so much !
Hello mummies! My daughter is ll months old and is experiencing really hard dry bowel movements and constipation. Shes on all solids and drinks formula milk. What can I do to make her go with some ease and give her more regularity? Please advise. Thank you! :)
Sleep woes
Hi, my 5mo son sleeps besides me in bed every night. However after 1-2hours of sleep he will start to fidget and his hands/feet will move. Sometimes I think it is a signal for milk so I feed him. Most times he is just active even though im sure he is trying to sleep. I’m not sure whether he was having a dream or he wants more milk or he is adjusting his sleeping position to breathe better since he has stuffy nose. He sleep sideways and cries sometimes when his nose is blocked. He doesn’t get enough quality sleep and feels tired in the morning. May I know if this happens to you? What would you do?
Hi all, need some advice. My little one is now 14 months and doesn’t like solid food anymore. He prefer formula milk than food. How do I make my LO to take more food than milk? Do you have any good easy recipes? Thank you in advance.
I had let my LO tried out the new drypers touch
It lasted for whole night without leakage. It can hold quite alot of urine in one diaper. My LO had sensitive skin but there's no rashes on the butt as well. Strongly recommend to those LO with sensitive skin to try out this drypers touch.
too young or at the right age
I have a friend who has just given birth less than a month. She has always been very conscious with everything surrounding her. From her being first time pregnant till giving birth. She hears no one but except to experiement or research on almost everything. Recently when i visited her and her less than a month baby, i came to realize that there are many things which normal post pregnancy mum does which she dont practise because based on her research. But when concern me most is when she told us that she is teaching her baby to self soothe and will try her best no to co-sleep with the baby. it came to a shock because at such a young age, less than a month old, the baby was make to train to self soothe. We find it shocking as we too have a child. We understand her plight of having to care for the baby alone while her husband works. but to self soothe such a young infants, we fear she is facing a post natal blues. We have too read online that we can self soothe baby but at a recommended age of 4-6 months..We, as friends who are also mother, felt that all her baby needs now is just that warmth of a mom before he felt asleep, some fresh air, as she confine the baby in the room only, probably some playing moment. She wouldnt let anyone carry her baby when he is crying and will often try her best to "train" him to sleep even though he seems wide awake and just need a little conversation moment. does anyone practice self soothing your child as early as newborn? is my friend showing sign of post natal blues? i need advise and assurance that she is fine and she is not harming herself and baby.
Hi mummies, what do you think about marigolds full cream packet milk? Thinking of giving this to my 18months old LO.
