Do we always burp our baby after feed?

In hospital after delivery, I am taught to burp the baby after feed so that baby feel better and will not have milk stuck in airway resulting in potential vomit milk which happen sometimes in cot when lie down. But other school of thoughts that I found claim is not necessary to burp always. Burp baby is not an easy job cause bb may sometimes resist me to do it due to hunger and frustration. I personally feel is better to burp but at dilemma whether to insist to do it. Any advice on burping?

Any cheap and good recommendations of Diapers brand?

Any diapers brand which is good and comparable to Merries or Mamypoko but more affordable at reasonable prices. My baby always poo heavily after feeding and usage is real high.

Try using Goon, good also. Huggies Gold is not too bad as well.

How do we know what is the right amount of milk for baby?

Hi all, my baby boy is 19 days old. He need to be feed around every 3 hours. He drink breast milk and most of time top up with formula milk. Total amount ranging from 90ml to 150ml everytime depending on how hungry and if he keep crying. It got me and my wife worried that sometimes he drink a lot and vomit milk. We tried to burp him but not successfully always.

Infant care or FDW?

Can anyone share how they decided to send their LO to infant care or to hire a fdw?

I did both. As my fdw handles housework and the kid over weekend. Infant care is for weekdays. If I had to choose I would go for infant care full day vs a fdw as the quality of care is just much better

Feedbacks on infant care

I’m planning to Enrol my daughter when she turns 3 months as I need to return back to work. And I somehow don’t feel safe about this whole idea. My Mother in law has to take care of another grand child so I have to look for a solution. Does babies really gets sick very often? And do they cater to their needs often?

4-6 hours sleep?

When does your new born starts to sleep 4-6 hours overnight?
