- 2024-08-05Hi all. First time mom here, currently at wk37+1 and nesting for the arrival of baby. Would like to hear your advice when to start washing milk bottles and breast pump? I won’t be bringing them to the hospital and also, my husband is probably gonna stay at the hosp throughout with me during delivery. Hence want to avoid the hassle of asking him to come home just to wash bottles.
Just wondering how best to keep them sterilize if wash them early now (my haenim uv sterilizer can’t fit everything inside).
Welcome any suggestion. Thank you!
- 2024-08-05FTM here. Can you parents share your precious experiences please?
Any late talker? I understand that every baby blooms at a different pace but I can’t help but worry.
Many thanks in advance.

- 2024-08-05Hi, I’m currently at week 18 of my pregnancy and been craving and drinking cold water. Izit ok? As many told me cold water is no good for the baby.
- 2024-08-05No protein (eggs, meat, fish, prawn, beef) taste or look appetising to me. I feel nauseous looking at them and is not consuming them. 😢 I'm currently 8 weeks. Any advice fellow mummies? I'm afraid baby doesn't have enough nutrients.
- 2024-08-05my mil previously helped me with confinement stuff but we always ended up arguing she helped me with confinement food and bathing baby for my first. i'm currently with my second and i do not need her help with my confinement as i'm buying confinement meals, etc and my husband and I already discussed that he'll help me bath our newborn during my confinement period and i'll take care of the second but my mil always love to control everything she even controlled our rom and ring selection.... and guessed what she butt in and told my husband she'll be staying with us during confinement period and asked my husband to give her $1.5k even when we didn't asked for her help she also know that i'll be ordering confinement food.
honestly i think it's really unnecessary for her to "help" as she didn't really help much with my first but gave me postpartum depression ☹️ my first she only did my confinement food and bathing baby other than that i did the rest putting baby to sleep, changing diapers, etc. so her "help" with my second one is much NOT NEEDED AT ALL.
the problem is i want to reject her but i don't know how to say it as she gets offended VERY EASILY. and we sort of got bad blood because of the past.
- 2024-08-05I’m under huge amount of work stress and one of the reasons is that I am unable to focus at work due to fatigue. I was called out for dozing off today at work and was told to get my act together. As I am a teacher, I don’t have annual leave, I have 3 more days of sick leave and have daily long hours. My boss is unable to reduce my workload for me and has told me to get used to my symptoms. I am not supposed to get my team to carry my weight as long as I am in office. My gynae is unwilling to give me hospitalization leave for rest as I am not having a medical problem. Her solution is to negotiate with my boss. I have thought of resigning but I still need to complete the school year. It feels like I can only get HL if I cause myself to bleed or something. I dunno what else I can do.
- 2024-08-05Mummies, I need your advice. According to my formula milk packet, on average babies should drink 150ml per kilogram. My 2month old baby is 5kg and should be drinking an average of 750ml per day. But he’s drinking about 1100ml per day instead. Is this normal? I tried to stretch out his drinking time from every 2 hours to 3/4 hours but it’s so hard. The max I could go is 2.5 to 3hrs. Is this normal? Or is it the formula milk that I’m using which is causing him to not be full? Currently using Dumex Dupro.
- 2024-08-05Hi! Just want to know this uncomfortable pain I feel around my vag.. or should i say pelvic bone? Im at 22 weeks now and i feel it more often nowadays #firsttimemom
- 2024-08-05Hi Mommies,
I’ve been struggling to swallow calcium pills and prenatal capsules.
For calcium pills, I’ve already broken it down to 4 or more pieces before swallowing but it does make me feel nauseous, I end up vomiting everything out. Tried powder form and mixed it in honey water, end up vomiting it out as well.
The prenatal capsule is even longer so I did not even try. The contents inside is liquid and I can’t stomach the taste and smell.
I haven’t been consistent with the supplements that doctor prescribed me with for the last 2 weeks as I don’t have anymore ideas how to swallow the pills.
Wondering if prenatal drinks like Similac mom or Enfamama can replace those pills?

- 2024-08-06Hi Mummies! Am in my second trimester and would like to ask for recommendations on pre-natal massages in SG? Been experiencing stiff/shoulder aches recently and occasional backaches 🥲 Thanks in advance 💕
- 2024-08-06Hi mommies! Im experiencing sharp pain on my left butt everytime i wanna lay down and get up, also from sitting to standing up. - 2024-08-06Im 24 weeks 3 days pregnant. feeling a little worried, is it normal to feel kicks yet or im still too early. i feel a “blop” here n there but its so rare.
- 2024-08-06Hi mommies,
I’m a little anxious and I’m hoping to get some assurance here 🙏🏻
I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant. More specifically when I went for my US last Friday, I was 8 weeks 1 day. Today the baby measures 8 weeks 3 days instead of 8 weeks 5 days. I’m worried that the baby isn’t growing as well as she should. Does anyone has any experience with this ? Is it because I am not eating enough for baby to grow?
Also to share - I’ve had 2 MC in the past 6 months so anything abnormal now is making me very very anxious … 😥
- 2024-08-06Hi, any of you consume Neurogain S during pregnancy? the doctor prescribed me with but this is the 1st time i have to take it compared to other pregnancies. Just wondering, when can i start taking it? Because the pharmacist said can start immediately, but when i did my research it says to start only on 2nd trimester 🫠 im only at my week 9th. TIA!
- 2024-08-06is it normal to not having a lot of pregnancy symptoms
- 2024-08-06Hello, anyone know if I can use salon pas patch in my first trimester? I think I’ve sprained my neck last night during sleep and it’s getting worse today. Need some help :(

- 2024-08-06Hello! Anybody knows if we can use this kind of cooling foot patch during pregnancy???
- 2024-08-06Hi, i had a very sharp and "crunchy" pain above my stomach like near the bottom of my ribs? Broke out in cold sweat and even my back related to the area started to be pain as well. Didnt feel nauseous but i tried to vomit and after vomiting, the pain felt alot better. Has anyone gone thru the same before and any idea if its normal for pregnancy? :/
- 2024-08-06How long does it take for an infant's cough to fully recover?
- 2024-08-06anyone has this same issue with me?? usually babies will call their parents mama and papa right? cos easier to pronounce. but for my husband’s side, they call their grandparents mama and kongkong. and now with my baby, mama is grandma and mummy is me. my baby just started babbling the word “mam mam and mama” but i don’t feel as happy as i shld be when i hear him call “mama” becos deep down i know that he is “supposed” to call my MIL mama… kind of my dream for him to call me mama and experience what every other mother would feel to just hear their baby start saying mama.
anyways, jus wanted to rant as it has been weighing on my mind since i gave birth :( any advice? help pls😭
- 2024-08-06Why Doctors normally add 2 weeks to your pregnancy timeline? I thought I should be at week 3 but Dr told me I am at week 5.. Given I had 2 miscarriages before, I feel that sometimes it made you anxious when the yolk sac or fetal pole not visible at that time the Dr thought it should be but you know it is too early. Anyone facing the same dilemma as me?
- 2024-08-06Hi mummies,
My son is currently 4 months old going to be 5 this month. However he doesnt want or always fussy to drink milk when he is awake.. the only time he will drink is when he is half asleep. We tried changing the bottles from hegen, nuk and pigeon and still the same, even the milk powder from nan, enfamil and s26.
He can sleep from 8pm onwards till 7am the next morning without milk which worries me..
Help, is this normal? Any tips to make it easier for him to drink milk?

- 2024-08-07My LO has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 months old and he's turning 4 mth next week. I still wake him up to feed despite him sleeping soundly as I thought babies should still be fed at night even though we can drag the interval to 4/5hours instead of 3hours. What are your thoughts about this? Shall I stop this routine if my LO is sleeping through the night and only feeds him after he is awake? eg, sleeping from 10pm to 6am

- 2024-08-07Feeling insecure due to the crazy weight gain. I am at 30weeks now and I’ve gained about 13KG so far. I am in a mummies whatsapp chat and most said that they only gained like 4kg and some even hardly gained any weight. My gynae also mentioned that I’m gaining too much weight but honestly I do not know how to stop the weight gain. I’ve been eating healthily and my intake is still lesser than regular people. I do believe that it may be due to my restricted diet pre pregnancy hence the crazy weight gain when I start eating more during pregnancy.
