Would your choose to spend extra $1000/mth or save that amount and stay with in laws?

Depends on your income and if you have other commitments as well. To some couples $1000 can be minimal or a huge amount.

I will spend extra too ... If I can turn back the time ... ... ... If you can afford the extra, spend it.

depending on my relationship with my in-laws. if it's not good, I may rather move out. otherwise save save save and be patient.

For me, I rather spend extra. Seeing each other is easy, living together is hard.

i'd stay with in-laws. as it is, my 89yr old dementia FIL is staying with us.
