Would your choose to spend extra $1000/mth or save that amount and stay with in laws?
If in good terms can consider staying with in laws but that also depend if the house have any other siblings or so... If not in good terms i will definitely spend extra money to moved out... But it also depend on the family finance situation. But play safe after having a kid or so , stay by own will be better in order to avoid any conflicts.
Read moreI will rather spend less on myself than staying with in-laws. You might have a good relationship while meeting occasionally but it does not mean it will be same when staying together. I have learned my lesson the hard way.

a VERY good question. That $1k is spend on childcare or housing rental? For me, i would rather stay alone. As i been staying w my inlaws for 5 years and i have seen LOTS of conflicts. So i rather stay on my own.

Have u applied for a flat already? If waiting phrase for bto I will tolerate n save $1k since I will need money for Reno Soon. If I still have many years more, to Ensure sanity, I will spend that $1k

I am spending 5k a month so that I don't have to live with my in laws. Totally worth it. I'm very confident it will further damage our relationship if I stay with them.

If you need to save that $1000/mth suck it up stay with your in laws... but make sure that it’s only for temporary. Save up & move out once you can! 😍💕
Depends on your relationship with them. How close you all are and the characters of everyone . For me it is no no to maintain peace n harmony.
Well Guess it depends on your relationship between you and your in laws . But think eventually we will need our own place and privacy too .
