What's a good holiday spot to vacation with your husband and his parents? Somewhere to have some family fun, as well as spend some time alone as a couple.

How about the Pacific Islands? Living in NZ, we were in such close proximity to the Pacific Islands and knew many people who were from there - their culture and food are amazing! One suggestion could be Rarotonga (a part of the Cook Islands), situated 4 hours away from New Zealand. Rarotonga is very small, and their beaches and lands are very untouched. Here's some information on Rarotonga: http://www.cookislands.travel/rarotonga

I would say the beach is the best because you can spend the day eating and relaxing by the pool and spa - and of course since your in a hotel you can sneak in some hubby time :). Thailand would be my first option. Personal favourite would be Sheraton Hua Hin, the rooms that connect to the pool is nice and relaxing. Food is great as well. If you want to be adventurous, check out The Racha in Phuket.

Try Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada! The place is gorgeous during winter. Skiing or snowboarding as a family is definitely a plus point. While your in laws are having fun watching your kids on the slopes, you can take the opportunity to spend some quality time with your hubby in their steaming outdoor hot tub. Check this place out: http://www.fairmont.com/lake-louise/media/photos/

Mumbai would be a great place to visit. You can meet your friends (if you've there), your husband can relax, meet his old friends, family can enjoy their roots, and you can go have the shopping fun :)
