I wouldn't recommend Sophie the Giraffe because there have been incidents where some parents discovered mold in the teether. Apparently, saliva/water got into the holes and mold grew inside the giraffe, causing a nasty smell which prompted the parents to dissect their teethers. http://www.whattoexpect.com/forums/april-2015-babies/topic/beware-sophie-the-giraffe.html If you do get Sophie, get the ring version which does not have any holes. I prefer teethers with no holes. The BANA teether from Korea is designed to look like a banana to promote healthy eating habits and is soft and bendable. It's also vibrantly coloured and designed to attract babies. It can be purchased from Qoo10. http://list.qoo10.sg/item/BANA-TEETHER-FROM-KOREA/405756264

I picked up the Twisty teether figure 8 from munchkin. It twists into different shapes and makes rattling sounds and features 4 different teething surfaces for baby to grasp, hold and chew. It's about $8- $9. I bought it because of the price. If nothing else it's entertainment and it helps baby develop motor and sensory skills while learning cause and effect! Plus it's nice and small, so you can just dump it in your bag when you need to go out. http://www.toddle.sg/nursing-feeding/shop-by-category/pacifiers-teethers/twisty-figure-8-teether-toy.html http://www.pupsikstudio.com/munchkin-twisty-figure-8-teether-toy.html

My boy loves Sophie the Giraffe teether! Reasons: 1. It has coloured spots on the Giraffe's body which make it more attractive to the baby. 2. The teether has many parts for baby to chew like ears, horns, legs. It is also very flexible. 3. It is make of 100% natural rubber and food paint which is perfectly safe for baby to chew. 4. You can squeeze the giraffe to make a squeaking sound. This can entertain the baby. You can get it from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Vulli-Sophie-the-Giraffe-Teether/dp/B000IDSLOG#productDescription_secondary_view_div_1455165966855

I use tiz pigeon teether. Baby can learn to hold it at e handle part. Even though if is stated to be used for 7mths onwards, i gave my baby to play wif it when he was 5mths+. I bought e necklace type tat e above mummy recommends. The one wif e car teether. Baby dunno how to hold it & it is difficult to put it into his mouth. Tiz pigeon teether is e best for my baby so far.

This teether is good. Come in necklace or pacifier clip. Necklace for us to Wear when we babywear the baby, so they can bite. Pacifier clip for baby to entertain them while they sit on high chair (scare they entangle themselves with the necklace string.) https://www.facebook.com/rainbowgardenx/
