Will you teach your child traditional Filipino games (e.g Sepak Takraw, Patintero)? Why or why not?

Definitely yes! It's part of our culture so I want to teach and pass it on to my kids. Aside from that, these outdoor plays have a lot of benefits for the kids. These promote social skills--develop camaraderie and respect for others. These also enhance their motor skills--such as eye and physical coordination, being attentive to their surroundings thus practicing alertness. These are also a good form of exercise especially for cardio. So yes, I super support traditional Pinoy games!

Also, this might sound meh sa iba pero sorry I won't let my child play outdoors.

Same sis ang sad

Way back 80's 90's laging nasa labas at naglalaro at pinapalo kapag ayaw matulog na tanghali.

Why not, it would be beneficial for them anyway :) I mean any sports would be great for a child to learn. Not only it will get them moving and physical which is good, it can also help them develop teamplay skills and self esteem. Give this source some time to read and you'll realise the wonders of sports to kids: http://www.livestrong.com/article/160825-why-should-children-play-sports/ :)

Yes! I remember we were shooting this commercial and the kids were supposed to act like they were playing hopscotch (piko). When they were asked if they knew piko, they literally have no idea how or what that game is. So we taught them how to play it, grabe hirap na hirap sila mag balance at tumalon kaloka! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes. I will not let her use gadgets muna. Well 4 mos palang naman siya pero i am planning to introduce yung mga games na nilalaro natin before. I want to make her childhood memorable tulad ng satin hehe.

Yes! I grew up playing these games and it made my childhood more wonderful and memorable. If possible, I want my kids to experience that kind of feeling too and also to share with them even just a little bit of my childhood :) ^

Yes, its one of the best ways to encourage team work, socialization, plus they get to experience and enjoy the great sunshine outdoors with friends.
