Nowadays do you all follow the confinement rules? No bathing for a month? No washing hair? No aircon?

Nonono... Lol... I cannot tahan hot. And i cannot tahan no shower... Sooo i everday on ac. Of cox not so low temp but a cooling temp. Bath i everyday bathb herb lor.. At least bath. I will die if no bath. Lol.. Even no preg,i go out 1 time i come back need to shower. I scare hot. Lol.

We hired a confinement nanny for my wife. She bathed with herbs and warm water. air con was on daily as the weather was too hot and during tt period she needs a cooling envt to feel better. as long as the fan or air con is not blasting at u, it shouldnt be too big of an issue :)

It depends on your own personal comfort level. I showered and washed my hair the same night after I delivered, and did my confinement in air-conditioned environment. The pre-natal education classes helped clarify some of the traditional practices so guess that helped for me.

I did not sleep in aircon, bathe quickly with herbs, used hair powder for dry wash. Wear track pants with socks to keep warm. Although Singapore is warm but the coldness comes from inside of our body so I follow rules of confinement. And I eat a lot of ginger to keep warm

For me I have all 3 kids I didn't follow ... I just bath as normal n wash my hair daily but using fan not air con ... best part I dun eat confinement food also n I drink cold water too ... dun know is it because of all this after the 3rd one I everyday backache .

Hygiene is critical, so I bathed with warm water everyday. I still stayed in air conditioned room. I also ate nutritious food and drank lots of water; I don’t believe in the concept of “heatiness” and “cooling”. I look at the nutritional value.

Still doing confinement and showering every fortnightly with 艾草da fong ai. And washing my hands very regularly with tap water as well as using direct fan Some confinement practices that I've stuck to is to only consume red dates tea

I took a shower every day and washed my hair every other day. Regular water (warm) with a lemongrass shower gel and my usual shampoo. Also had Aircon and fan and windows wide open. Drank water. Haha. Didn't follow the rules.

I didn't follow any of it. I showered as soon as I got home (I felt so icky after the delivery), washed my hair 3 days after... I didn't sit under direct air from the air con, but slept with the air con on from the 2nd week.

I didn't follow most of the rules. I went without a shower for 5 days and I washed my hair about once a week. I was too engorged and had blocked ducts so I needed to have the hot water shower to act as a warm compress.
