New Daddy's Woes!

My wife just gave birth one month ago and I feel like I don't have a life anymore! I want my guys' night out and soccer time with my buddies. Everything is about the baby now. Is this it for me? How do I tell my wife I need some me time without upsetting her?

Its still early but do ask for a night/day with your friends and also give her a night or day with hers. Our baby is 2 months and me and my hubby plan around his days off. Your happiness counts too. She should be understanding as im sure she wants to get out soon too ! Best of luck

before you make a baby. u should think twice and think the consequences. when the baby are out now, it's alr too late. be a man and take the responsibility. forget about your guys night out. put yourself in your wife shoes

I think wife need more me time then daddy.... We suffer 9 month,,, after deliver at least daddy can corporate to take care baby.. Don't la be irresponsible.... Now I know women have more courage then man...

Question to the fathers it is wrong to punished your child when ever she or he done wrong ? I will appreciated if i can get some advice i feel guilty wen ever i punish my 9years old daughter coz it eat me in side after i give her punishment it eat me in side what can you tell me?

It may not be for everyone but a tap out once a while it's understandable. You can sit down with your wife and talk about the situation. But you also have to understand that your life has changed now and you should learn how to prioritise your family better moving forward.

It is okay to want to stay away from certain thing sometimes and enjoy personal time. You can discuss with your wife about you wish to meet friends, e.g. once per week and decide on which day. So your wife will be more opened and will not interfere your "free night".

Guys need time out and girls need girls day out too. Perhaps you can try to let her go for her "me" time first and if she's feeling happy about it than you can always suggest that both of you should have your own "me" time occasionally.

Have a good talk and compromise... It doesn’t mean parenthood means the end of freedom. My husband still gets his occasional nights out despite us having 2 kids... Probably wait awhile cos having a newborn for a new parent is tough. Hang on!

easy peasy. Give her the 'me time' that she needs too. Yes, its not just u who need me time. If u can handle the baby all alone and your wife enjoy her me time, so u can ask her to give that time to you too. If only u can give her... 🤔

you probably shouldnt have had a baby if you cant handle staying home taking care of him or her that's what being a father is all about you should have thought about that before you nutted inside her
