Just Mums

Breathlessness during bed time

Hello mums. I am at 20+ weeks. Having breathlessness at night whenever I am on the bed trying to get some sleep. It feels like my tummy is expanding at night. Any mums have tips or advice? Thanks.

Can try to sit down and rest/sleep instead with the help of those big long pregnancy pillow. It does help with my breathelessness at night. Sitting down sometimes might be more comfortable than lying down.

Hi dear, prop yourself up with one or two more pillows, and turn to your side so that your tummy is resting in the bed and not pushing up against your diaphragm/chest:)

try and lie on your side and prop a small pillow below your bump. I hope that helps!
