Proud mummy of 1 pretty princess
Calculating fomular
Curious question but might sound stupid. I bottle feed my bb. So i usually put 60ml water then after adding in milk powder is 70ml. So is bb drinking 60 or 70ml or 120ml (60ml water + 60ml powder) ...? đ¤
Infant feeding amount
Hey mummies! Wondering what's the correct amount and timing an infant should be on. I'm feeding my 23days old baby girl NaN opticpro. She has been waking up hourly these 2-3 days. Previously, she can eat up to 90ml and sleep for 2.5hrs but she will have spit ups very often. So now we change it to 30ml every fed and she can drink up to 60-90ml every hour but separated into every 15mins 30ml. Not sure if this is correct but with this, she seems to have lesser spit ups but lesser sleep too. She became awaken easily and sleep only for short periods and very fussy. Not sure what to do now.
Infant poop
Hi mummies, My baby is 22days old. 2 days ago, we changed her fomular from NaN opticpro HA to non HA stage 1. We changed it cause we felt that she doesn't have any sign of allergies and we initially bought the wrong type. She was constipated for about more than 12 hours after the 2nd day of Opticpro and recently had these 2 poos. Its more towards greenish yellow and soft clumps. Does it look okay or should I be worried? We are thinking to kiv cause we just changed her fomular and her body is adjusting.
Newborn loud swallowing sounds
Hi mummies! My NB is 14 days old today but she has very loud gulping/swallowing sounds everytime she drinks. It would seems like she's swallowing very strongly. Then after the fed she'll breathe alittle faster like almost panting and will only calm down after like 10mins. she doesn't seem to be in distress, unhappy or uncomfortable.. Anyone experiencing this too? We've changed the bottle teats, fed her slowly, burp her during feed intervals but the sounds doesnt seems to decrease. Not sure if there should be any concerns here.
