How to Prevent Miscarriage or Complications?

Mom, I'm so scared... this is my third pregnancy. The two previous ones, I miscarried at 16 weeks and 10 weeks. How can we ensure this pregnancy stays healthy? I can't stop blaming myself. My mom and mother-in-law say it's my fault. Now, I'm too scared to do anything, I've completely stopped all activities. I panic at the slightest discomfort... I feel like I'm not going to be a good mom.

Give yourself a big tight hug. The moment you started worrying shows that you’re a mom that cares. I’m no expert but I’m sure there are a lot of factors that cause miscarriages. And I believe that the men shared the same responsibility too as it’s their genetic material, so don’t blame yourself. Trust your gynae and take plenty of rest to relax the body and mind. Eat well to fuel your body for yourself and for your baby. Stop doing or eating anything that makes you feel uncomfortable/insecure of. Be careful when you need to take any medication. Spend time to talk or sing to your baby. Every pregnancy is a blessing. You’re a blessed one. Have faith and stay away from toxic ppl for the time being. You need positive vibes!

Ugh these people should stop with the victim blaming. Mothers feel the loss the most, who are they to say all these things to a grieving mother? Just know that even doctors don't know what causes most miscarriages. If they don't know, who would know better right? Just go through this pregnancy with a positive mind. Tuck the stress away, ignore negative sounds (e.g. Mil), eat healthily, don't overexert yourself, rest lots. Just basically be happy! Just know that the cause of miscarriages do not lie on the mother. You are doing great mummy 😘

Hey! Dont pressure urself and dont ever blame urself for the miscarriages u got. I understand the way u feel but we can only take it as a lesson. Stop all vigorous exercise, eat ur supplements! First trimesters are usually the crucial part so just be careful. Get plenty of rest and hydrate urself. If there are any concerns just go and visit ur gynae. Emotional support is important. Surround urself with positive people :) U can do this mama!

As hard as it seems not to dwell or mull over the past experiences, it’s important to remain hopeful about your current pregnancy, mommy! I I rmb I also felt anxious and scared when I was pregnant but I trusted in God. God is still in control and He will see you and your baby through it. Try to reframe your thinking and think positively as baby can sense and feel it. Everything will be okay. Sending you hugs.

so sorry to hear that you’ve been blamed for the miscarriages… it definitely is not fair to put the pressures on you. pregnant is difficult enough, to have added mental pressure is unnecessary and frustrating. Focus on having a healthy mind and positive thinking! you will be ok 🫶🏻 rooting for you!

Do not stress yourself, be yourself. Have a positive mindset. Be brave and remember to keep taking folic acid. Stay strong and do a check up if there is a need. Sometimes it’s DNA not your fault. All mummies here hear you and staying with you. Take care.

Sending some love over to you! Don’t be too hard up and blame yourself further. Don’t over-stress too much! Your baby inside can feel it too. Nourish your mind and your body well - eat and sleep well 💕 trust the process!
