Breastmilk

Mama’s when does your breastmilk starts after giving birth? I have been stimulating and pumping yet no sign of colostrum or milk. Any tip for a new mama here?

Colostrum starts of with a few tiny drops. My milk started coming in on the 3rd night. And that’s transition milk. Actually for the first few days, latching and being around your baby helps a lot more than pumping. Breast massage too.

Keep going! The first time you see the let down come, it’s super satisfying 😊

I had nothing until the 3th day when the lactation consultant came and squeezed really hard it was so painful 😅 but only then a few drops came out. If you're struggling how about find help from an LC?

Yes the nurse squeezed really hard then the few drops came out and collected in a syringe!
