Is it safe to eat spicy food in first trimester?

I’m still in my first trimester and I had a spicy dinner tonight. Not sure whether it will have some negative impacts to my baby.

I got some really good advice from a mom who got this advice from her doctor. moms in India, Thailand, Japan, Africa all have babies too. as long as it is what you are used to eating and if you eat everything in moderation.. and don't go from 0-100 overnight.. you (and baby) will be fine.. :)

Is fine but do note on the side effects on yourself. https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/spicy-food-pregnancy#safety-for-you

Yeah I actually ate laksa most of my days during early pregnancy but of cus without the cockles.

As I have heard it is no harm to your baby . But Spicy foods can make morning sickness worse

It’s fine to eat but not always . As we never know if the baby is strong or weak .

It’s fine, just eat everything in moderation. Avoid alcohol and caffeine

Hey, Yes it should be fine but just to be safe please eat in moderation
