No don't! I didn't know and I consume alot of water by 32 weeks my feet is super swollen until I can't walk properly. Until my grandma told me it's water that's causing me like this I stop drinking so much especially at night and in 3 days my feet got back to normal.

Water retention is mostly caused by sodium in your food intake not water itself.

Its good to drink water. I remember i read somewhere before and it says drinking less water actually causes water retention not the other way round.

It's good to drink more to stay cool and hydrated. You're making more blood also so you need to keep replenishing your fluid levels.

Good to drink more water to maintain healthy level of amniotic fluid for baby.
