Can chinese confinement eat Octopus??

5days PP. MIL insist boiling Octopus soup for me. Isn't octupus poisonous or under seafood that I shouldn't be taking?

Why not u try to download those confinement menu from the confinement catering and pass to her? Then ask her cook what she can from there.

I don't think it is wise to eat seafood during confinement. Especially squid or octopus. Why your MIL like that?

Maybe not in the first 2 weeks to be safe and provided you had a natural birth. Csec strictly no no for the whole month or as long as you can.

Other than fish I never touch any seafood during confinement. I think not good for wound healing.

During confinement, can only eat fish, chicken and pork. All other meats are not encouraged

U just dun drink. Never heard of ppl cook seafood for confinement.
