2.2 M following
Hi! Need some advice regarding my toddler's schedule. My LO is now 23 months old and is following a routine I would like to change. He wakes at 9am every morning , has breakfast which he eats very little then sometimes demands for a nap at about 11.30 or 12 noon. I'm at my wits end as to how to correct this as he will often wake from his nap at about 1.30pm and have lunch. This makes it very difficult for me to offer him a snack as I understand that toddlers this age should be getting at least one snack a day. On good days he asks for another nap at about 4/4.30pm until 6pm and if not, he skips the afternoon nap altogether. I hope to make a few changes to his nap/bed time and his mealtimes. Hoping that his mealtimes will not be so late so that there is a buffer for me to offer him a snack. How do I go about changing his schedule and mealtimes , where do I start? Thanks in advance!
anybody with maid and childcare? can i check if you think it's better to leave barely 2yo toddler with maid for say 1.5hrs before school at 830am and for her to send , Or better for us parents to send at 7am as we start work early. Not really sure as i thought it might be good for tod to have freeplay with other children in the morning, but then he s barely 2 so thinking if staying home longer might be better. Maid seems to love playing w my tod when i m ard, not sure if unsupervised is same. Thank you.
My girl is going to drive me nuts. She is 17mo now. Whenever we bring her back from childcare, she will scream shout and cry at watever small things that make her unhappy. When she touch things that is not allowed (electric or important stuffs) she will start her attitude. She can cry for 5mins straight. Dont know why. Only happened these few days. Is it the start of terrible 2s alr?
Anyone else has a Monster who destroys their own toys? My little Monster is 1 and just destroyed her toy piano!
What do you give a 15 month old to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner? I'm at my wits end. Child goes to infant care and eats normally but back at home she refuses my porridge and everything else.
Anyone has sent your toddler to Brainfit? Any feedback ?
Ok is it normal for baby to scratch themselves until this bad? My LO keeps scratching till she bleeds.
My 2 year old girl has been coughing badly mostly at night, it's been almost 3 weeks. Brought her to GP and Paed, but still the same. What should i do? Her cough is very very flamy.
At what age should I let my toddler start using a pillow? Are there any recommendations for brand? I only know of Babysafe.
My 18mo boy had 2 unpleasant encounters with toddlers recently. One pushed him down and another choked/strangled him from the back with his arm. He's v mild mannered and doesn't rough play or retaliate and ends up crying. Since then he'll run away or towards me whenever other kids approach him for fear that the same thing might happen. It saddens me to see that coz I want him to play with peers. He hasn't been to sch yet so he's mostly at home. I've tried talking to him to tell him it's ok but he still seems afraid. Is there anything I can do?
