Anyone kid who has jaundice when born? Polyclinic doc advice me to stop breastfeed for now cos im taking confinement chinese red dates which could be the cause of the jaundice level. true?

My baby had jaundice too and the polyclinic drs only advised to feed more instead of stopping breast-feeding which is good for the baby! Persist on, mummy!

my daughter (4mo) is bottle fed ebm in the day and she dl at nights when I'm home. it's always been fine. but these 2 days she's been rejecting my boob. she will cry and struggle after sucking for 2 mins. this is making my night feeds a nightmare. can someone advise on this?

It could even be early teething. Do check her gums. Or she could be coming down with a cold. If it persists, best to check with a doctor.

Hi, my LO has been having watery stools on and off these 2 days, coupled with a lot of gas. She has been taking EBM..was wondering if it could be due to some food that I've taken recently (e.g cheesecake, spicy mee goreng that I had). Anyone had similar experience and managed to identify the cause? (*disclaimer : poop pic attached) Thanks in advance mummies!

The foods you had were quite rich and heaty. Maybe that's why. Stop eating such foods for a while and wait a couple of days to see if the poop condition changes.

My daughter is 4 months and weighs 6kg at 64cm. She is bottle fed ebm in the day and direct latches at night. Usually she takes 4 - 5 bottles of 100ml at every 2-3 hrly. But lately she doesn't want to drink. She barely finishes 3 bottles in the day. She has 2 bottom teeth and can already roll over so doc says she's fast for her age. But her feeding habits really worries me. What can I do get her to feed properly again ?

could be teething phase at the moment. Try applying some teething gel to help her w the pain so she can feed properly.

All fruits are safe to eat during breastfeeding. Not just fruits, all food is!

Hi mummies who pump at work, just wanna find out how do you guys bring your sterilised pump parts to work? Like in a plastic bag? Ziplock?

Yup, i put it in a big ziplock bag and use a new one everyday.

Hi, My one mth old baby latch on me for only 5-8mins and she stopped.try putting on her but then she wouldn't open her mouth. I'm not sure if she's full cause my breast feel empty and my engrogment is gone after she drink. Pls advice

If it's not enough, baby will make sure you know (by crying). If you feel that your milk has been emptied and baby shows no signs of hunger, fussiness and discomfort, I reckon all is well.

I'm breastfeeding my LO. I would like to check if I'm able to dye hair? Will it harm my LO?

You can definitely dye your hair even while breastfeeding. Go to better saloon who uses better products.

Hi mummies, I'm experiencing engorgement and have been massaging, hot water bathing, cold compress and all the other remedies for the past days but to no effect. Do you have any breast massage lady or LC (effective ones) contacts to share? Thanks!

How long do I need to warm up bm in warmer?

Depending on bottle / bottle Warmer and if from freezer or fridge. We use dr brown bottle warmer and we warm up for 3 mins
