I've seen one of my friends do it here without warmers and apparently, what she does is to thaw the frozen breastmilk under cool running water till it melts or till there are no more chunky bits. After milk has thawed, she will increase temperature of the running warmer gradually room temperature to warm, and from warm to hot. Bringing the temperature up slowly will destroy fewer enzymes in the milk and heats it more evenly. Stop right before the water starts to steam. You can roughly tell when the milk has been warmed to the optimal temperature. Make sure to test it before giving it to baby so that you won't accidentally scald baby's tongue.
